This is the best Rashad's been commentating all tournament! Sorry that was mean.

Everyone loves Modern! So may cool decks with sweet synergies, full of cards we used to enjoy in Standard. Lots of power, but without the super-broken, non-interactive stuff you see in Legacy and Vintage. ..or so we thought.

Unfortunately Wizards of the Coast is now bankrupt due to the millions they spent on fixing their audio for this series.

You really should look more into this deck's inception. Travis Woo is the number one brewer and creative mind behind Fatestitcher Ascendancy, no one played that card before him.

If you insist on calling it TemurDelver, please be consistent and call Pat's deck Izzet Delver.
@logontomyface10 жыл бұрын
i dont like the name temur, they should just stick to RUG and BUG or junk.
@downsjmmyjones1019 жыл бұрын
RogueCulture But do we call RWB Mardu, Dega, or Oros? I'm a fan of Dega. Played me some Dega Vampires back in Dragon's Maze standard and took an FNM with it.

Torvak Mendelek UB is fine. Dimir should refer to mill.

+James Downs You call it Mardu because that's the official name, given by WOTC.

+Rest In Void i agree the original names should be the only names...

is this 60 fps? That looks so weird to me... looks like the speed of the video is like 1.5 :)

Simon Gortzen and BDM should be the commentators for every video.

Was Jund not a thing in 2014? Reid Duke playing a combo deck ?
@RussianBot19983 жыл бұрын
was completely unplayable. Birthing pod was much better than it and even it was completely outclassed by the treasure curise and dig through time decks. right after this tournament cruise, dig and pod were all banned then the meta became abzan, burn and twin.

Jeeze, seeing magic played in 60fps is trippy. But I like it!

Anti-storm techs: Counterflux and Mindbreak Trap
@je107510 жыл бұрын
Once their engine is online Counterflux isnt that amazing as usually they can either keep going and/or flashback with Past in flames.
@WindyDelcarlo10 жыл бұрын
Jackson Ellis Every time I've seen storm go off in this championship, Counterflux would have likely just won the game. (It's also better than sitting around doing nothing)
@je107510 жыл бұрын
WindMasterArceus Agreed. Leyline is good if your opponent doesn't expect it. Not the end as they can bounce with Sb tech like Echoing Truth or kill with goblins. I feel the way to win the matchup is to keep Ascension of the table while applying pressure. easier said than done sometimes.
@WindyDelcarlo10 жыл бұрын
Jackson Ellis That's why I like playing counterburn. It lets me afford to run spells like Counterflux or Cyclonic Rift that disperse Ascension/counter storm. I now know to sideboard Electrickery too, if you don't like the goblins.
@je107510 жыл бұрын
Graveyard hate is also nice, An easy matchup if you can play something to stall them being able to combo whilst applying pressure.

Magic commentators tend to give a lot more credit to specific players than they really deserve. Josh Utter-Leyton and Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa are great players, however they didn't make the game, if this is the only coverage of the "sport," giving them credibility for a specific innovative decklist is not too important...
