Thank you so much my dad ( now passed) and my brother sung with the Bournemouth MVC at this and the other one, and my mum (also passed) and were in the audience!! So so precious to see and hear this again!! It was an incredible experience… I can still feel how it felt to be there!!! Wonderful 😍🥰💝💝💝

I was one of the official photographers at both World Choir events. Standing at the front of the stage during Hey Jude was truly one of my all-time highlights in a career that has spanned 30 years since. Both that and when Tom Jones sang Bohemian Rhapsody with the backing of all the choirs - send shivers down my spine to this day.

I had the pleasure of singing in both of the World Choir events. The second one was with Tim Jones but I am Not sure this was recorded. This version went out on Welsh Channel 4 tv originally. Thanks for posting! 👍

There used to be a video of the same gathering on youtube, but they have taken it down. There were hundreds of comments of appreciation. I made some good contacts through those comments, but they are lost now. So sad.

Thanks for including my breakdown in the header! (I've deleted my comment with it in - no need for both. [I suggest you remove the "5 months ago" though, as it will continue to be out of date.]) Just one thing: you say "with 1000 Choir members" - I think it was 10,000. Does anyone have a programme or similar, showing which choirs were where in the stadium? I want to find my Dad, but with 10,000, I haven't much chance. (He was with Snowdown choir, from Kent.)

Usually they are placed by voice. Tenors on the left, baritones in the middle and bass on the right

@@trevor-vq3fx Do you mean the individual choirs were split up and reassembled that way? The odd close-up in the clip seems to show groups all looking similar.

@@G6JPG Some of the choirs involved have more than 100 members. It would be quite possible to have 20 or 30 or more members from one choir to be placed together
