I am a "retired" minister of the Gospel. As a parish minister, I was (unofficially!) responsible for funeral services for those who had had no church connection, but whose relatives wished to have a clergyman conduct such a service. This also applied when there were no relatives, but the local undertaker decided that I should do so. On one occasion - one of the latter - I was informed that the gentleman who had died was a Welshman, and that was the totality of the information provided! When I came out of the "robing room", I found a "congregation" of four! I thought to myself "You had better sing well today!" However, when I announced the first hymn, and the four people in front of me started to sing, I could barely sing with them. It turned out that the deceased had been a member of a Welsh Male Voic e Choir, and they had sent four of their members upo to Central Scotland to represent them at his funeral. They were the most amazing male quartet that I ever heard. Yes, the Welsh do appear to be gifted singers!

I'm about to embrak on the rest of my life with my twin flame (marrying in June) and this hit me word for word. I was part of the team delivering the infrastructure modifications to enable the new site to be connected into the grid network. Swansea North Substation led me to find digs locally in Felindre and my host took me on Thursdays to various locations. One such Thursday treat involved a visit to a choir practice. I was blown away by the power of the voices. I could feel the voices on my body. It was an exceptional experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Bruno Tonioli is so emotive when it is a good performance. This Sicilian loves his reactions and praise. Ti amo Bruno! This really should have been a Golden Buzzer performance but I doubt they will have any problem going to the finals. Bravo, bellisimo, le voci degli angeli~~Well done, beautiful, the voices of angels.

Astounding! A small Welsh choir - back in the 1800’s, was the genesis of the World Famous “Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square”. Their voices truly are- gifts from God. ❤

For one of the MoTab's Christmas Specials they dedicated a portion of it to telling/singing the Choir's humble Welsh beginning. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2TLpKJqidhroKM. It's GORGEOUS and Michael York narrates it.

@@JohnnySuhtai Yes, that’s is true and it was a great concert that night. It’s no longer “Mo Tab” and hasn’t been for a few years now. 😊 “Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square “.

Anytime it's announced that someone or a group are from Wales, I get so excited and happy. That country has some of the most amazing singers. I'm like Amanda. They bring out my emotions for sure. And the men's choirs that perform that are from Wales ? Oh my goodness! It's heaven, for sure! 😊😂

Can you imagine being the one man in Wales who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket? Are there any men in Wales who can't sing? I can't imagine there could be. There's definitely something in the Welsh water. Just lovely.
