Amazing results! You get so much from just flat-coloured materials. I hope you can share more knowledge soon on the building up of materials layers.

Oh man!, this is the first time I've seen that you can retrieve the render camera position. Thanks for that alone, nice tutorial.

This was amazing, one of the best WC tuts out here, would've loved the process to add the materials instead of colors. Also how to export masks to do that process in other 3D programs

At 1:07 you increase the brush size but the "radius" setting on the lower left seems to stay at 2.00. How do you do that?
@etienneman10 ай бұрын
Watch my 2nd Tutorial, there I list of some combinations to regulate settings. Press CTRL + Mouse-Wheel to in/decrease the brush size :)

@@etienneman take your time my man, but i got a question if you don't mind me asking, been pondering to whether pick gaea or WC, so if you ever dabble with the two could you highlight their pros and cons?
@etienneman10 ай бұрын
@@kraney195 I give you a very good quote: "At first glance World Creator might seem more intuitive, compering to Gaea's node base interface, but that's just a matter of personal preference. In both cases you can achieve satisfying results, so just give them a try and see for yourself where you feel more comfortable." I was at the same spot as you are right now, 2 years ago. I tried gaea's free version and decided to go with world creator and I'm happy with it :). A big plus for me was, that wc has way more good tutorials. From i.e. "Design with TP". Hope that help in some way.

CAN WE MAKE DUNES OR DESERT MOUNTAINS LIKE " ALULA MOUNATINS INS SAUDI ARABIA "

I was looking at the price of World Creator and it's not that expensive but the cheapest version doesn't allow commercial use. It's so strange because that should be the demo version in some way. I would assume people wants to make money with this tool. However professional version is not expensive either.

hey man great stuff, but too bad you picked the most basic enviro. I would really like to see more interesting ones like the island beach, or some weird canyon, or maybe a fault line etc. cheers

Excellent Tutorial! For future ones, just please don't use background music with lyrics in it. It is really distracting and makes it harder to understand you. I would prefer no music at all, but that's a matter ouf your personal taste of course.
@etienneman2 ай бұрын
Thank you for the hint! Will def. lookout for music without lyrics.
