(61, 92 and 97kg respectively even though they had their 61kg bronze medalist on the roster). 5 starters from the US Men's team: Kyle Dake and David Taylor (2022 world gold medalists) Thomas Gilman, Zain Retherford and J'den Cox (2022 world silver medalists) 2 starters from the Japanese Men's team: Rei Higuchi and Taishi Narikuni (2022 world gold medalists) 4 starters from the Iranian Men's team: Reza Atri and Hassan Yazdani (2022 world silver medalists) Younes Emami and Amir Hossein Zare (2022 world bronze medalists) So of the 10 country teams that were represented (not either of the two all world teams) at least 25 world championship medalists from this year were not present. And that's really 25 medalists over 7 teams as the Mongolian and Ukrainian women and Georgian men brought all their 2022 medalists with them.

@@INSTANT_ARSVITA OK that's great. Yeah I honestly think it will make a huge difference to the less experienced viewers. When I first started watching fighting I had no idea what was happening on the ground and never really understood the goal. I remember the first time I watched a fight with Joe rogun commentating and whilst the fighters were on the ground he was explaining everything like control, mounts, submission attempts etc and honestly it was incredible because I went from thinking that nothing was going on when in reality there is an incredibly complicated and dynamic battle going. What's also important to note is Jon Jones return to ufc. A lot of new people will be watching him so think it would be really beneficial for them and more enjoyable as a result if they understand what's going on. Sorry about the long txt, just wanted to explain why I feel it would really benefit people. Have a great day bro

I love the fact so many women have entered the sport. I wrestled in high school and had to wrestle a young woman. My coach told me before the match to let it go till the second period. I said OK then went out on the match and pinned her very quickly. I commend her to this day for wrestling in a sport that at the time had only male teams but also I was never going to take it easy on her. She was an opponent that's what I saw her as.
