The blowdown of the old crumbling Brazilian stadium to make way for the new World Cup Stadium was the most extraordinary & interesting documentary I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo to you guys for putting on such a great show!! Thank You! I found myself yelling at the TV for our crew to be cautious again and again in working with the Brazilians to get it right. I find it remarkable that in a country where building collapses are not uncommon, that controlled explosives that are routinely used all over the world by highly experienced professionals are deemed too unsafe, these guys know their job. A rather plastic attitude to health and safety!

Not the cleanist of demolitions I seen on this, the light stands for example I don't think were clean BUT they got the result they wanted which was inside so who knows, also in some parts, again maybe it was the way they wanted it, but some of the explotions I thought were quite late in the sense they were already ripped off the supports and blow up on the way down. Again could be by design, but I thought it looked untidy compared to lots of the others

This was not the world cup stadium. This was the stadium used for training. The World Cup stadium was the International team. Beira Rio, this one from demolition is the one from coligay.

@@gundamzerostrike the fireworks stunt was only to avoid government permits, police lockdown, notify the public and lots of legal and paper work, wich is standard safety procedure by law and would take literaly months to happen.

"Today we dive with the white shark to observe how they interact with each other and experienced marine biologist out to show they are not the mindless eating machines movies have made them out to be with a surprise ending. i don't get why sports is so important to so many people i don't understand the play by play and when the game is over i don't care who wins because i'm not a fan of any body i have other things that are much more important to me its like why would want to hear about yesterday's weather forecast its over so who cares but i know people that will reminisce the game trying to relive each moment of there game its like stale potato chips and warm beer to me YUCK!!!!! ONE DAY I WAS WALKING DOWN A STREET when a stranger asked me did KU lose well i wasn't paying any attention so i said i don't know i was serious this guy looked as if he was about to cry then when i did not respond as he expected he is looking at me like i had 4 heads on my shoulders . life's to short to be spending it on some silly game
