I was born in Costa Rica and am part Costa Rican, part Honduran. I went back to Costa Rica as my graduation present from high school. The country is gorgeous. We stayed at the base of one of those active volcanoes they talked about. That said, drivers there are fuckin' nuts! Also, I am a huge fan of Italy and Serie A (Forza Juve!) so this should be interesting for me. Pura Vida!

Costa Rica is ALWAYS the underdog, everyone looks down on us, even in qualifiers, and we surprice teams often, so don't count us out yet... statistically speaking, yes, Costa Rica is the lowest ranked team, but we WANT the other teams to believe that and play as if they already won... nothing is sweeter than comming out of nowhere with a win... its happened before, and it can happen again.

Props to Costa Rica for their footballing culture, but I just don't see them advancing out of Group D primarily because their opening match is against Uruguay which I can't see them winning. Then they will be under pressure against an excellent Italy team for their next match. If only the schedule was reversed and they instead faced England first and Uruguay last... :/
