Winters, you might not play perfect when filming, but you´re a much better player when filming than most other players who film and upload on youtube. That makes your videos more enjoyable since you´re almost always up against decent or good opponents which means good battles. Name for your heroic Tech Priest Dominus who slayed the Khorne warlord: Triagran Sangruptor, with "Triagran" a word-play on trigram, which is a term used in cryptography, for example. Addional name "Sangruptor" being a mix of latin words "Sanguinem ruptor", or Bloodbreaker, as he did kill a champion of Khorne. If you want to to make is more "mechanicus", call him Triagram-3 Ruptor. Number three in Japanese is "san", so the number 3 can in this fashion stand in place of "Sang-". If you think this is a daft idea, then feel free to laugh at my suggestion. :)

This is awesome. I have a list with Armigers and a Guard brigade for a 1750 tournament that should work fairly similar. And I don't really have an opponent that goes full CC and charge. Hopefully I can get some insights for my own list from this. :D

At around 1:19 the it's unclear if the zerkers fought twice. I wonder if they didn't how it may have impacted the game. Also, zerkers have krak and frag grenades. Lastly, behind enemy lines with 3 or more units is also d3 points. Loved the game though.

Not that it was all that required, but since the little robotmen came so close to the Bloodthirster, he probably would have been able to "heroically intervene" there. It doesn't require anyone to have charged near the Characters, just an enemy unit within 3" for the Character to go rushing into combat.

Not a mistake but maybe a missed opportunity, when the punchy bots charged the maulerfiend and the rangers didn't charge the bloodthirster, i believe the bloodthirster could have heroically intervened and swung at the rangers anyway. As heroic intervention can happen regardless if a unit charged. Granted if he had other plans for bloodthirster then obviously he could just ignore that.

Are you sure about that? I always interpreted the rule (heroic intervention) as having a defending character move 3” into a combat, wether it’s an ongoing combat, or a charge that turn. But you read it as ‘you can heroically intervene into any unit, regardless of wether they are in combat or not, at the end of your opponents charge phase?’ Hmmm I don’t think that sounds right to me.

I read it as it is written. "After the enemy has completed all of their charge moves, any of your CHARACTERS that are within 3" of an enemy unit may perform a Heroic Intervention. Any that do so can move up to 3", so long as they end the move closer to the nearest enemy model" So don't leave stuff too close to enemy characters, and 6" Heroic Intervention, as some get (Space Wolves etc.), is really good.

In Winter's turn Liam should have scored Blood and Guts, in 8th edition you check for objective completion on each turn. Blood and guts, for example, says "if an enemy unit was destroyed during the fight phase of this turn" not "during the fight phase of your turn". Aside from that, a really nice match and table.

What page in the Chaos Space Marine codex says World Eaters take Khorne beserkers as troops? I know in the DG codex Plague Marines are troops and in the Thousand Sons codex Rubric Marines are troops, so it makes sense, but I've never seen the rule about World Eaters (or I assume Emperor's Children and Noise Marines)

Wow that was brutal(Khorne is pleased lol) Admech of the penitent forge just got pipped to the post there. Seeing that army I might have swapped out a unit of skit's for some kataphrons to add extra fire support but at 1750pts the extra bods provided by the skit's was probably the better way to go. Great batrep though and lovely models. Speaking of lovely models Mr winters, have you checked into getting a termite yet? glorious(and only atm) transport option for admech. Just bought one myself in the process of painting it. Parts fit together pretty well. 130pts base + weapon options. I'm thinking of getting another but I'm gonna see how it performs in a game first.

I believe the Blood Warriors are Space marine scale so it is easy to swap. Unfortunately with them painted it’s difficult to see the joints or any seams to see where the kits are swapped.

Winters as a fellow Admech player i have a question: Have you tried other forge worlds than Mars? I see the point to take mars when you have BC in your list, however when you do not have him it is a shame not to try some of the different tactics the other ones can provide (personally i big fan of Graia for the annoying stickiness and ability to deny psychic powers)

Combat between the Warglaive & the Berserkers/Maulerfiend, you interuppted & used Machine Spirit Resurgent stratagem. You can't use it if the turn in already underway. You can only declare you're using it at the start of your own turn. Also, you used your House Vulker tradition in combat, you can only re-roll the 1's to wound with ranged weapons, not in combat.
