1:28:35 the big plasma template is rending 4+, so that shot was 8+4+at least 1 from the extra d3, so that pred should be dead! Just a wee thing I noticed. Great looking armies and for putting these out for us all.

Holding the line against World Eaters is pointless as their Violence Incarnate rule lets you keep all bonuses even if the charge was disordered. That Dread should have been slinging 5 attacks into the Praetor and Retinue on the charge.

When will we see the Suzerain and Fulamenturs Terminators??? They are such awesome Units for Ultramarines! Try them out! I had great success with Legio Lectora as my Rite of War. Something very neat are a full Squad Recon Marines with Nemesis Bolters and a Siege Breaker with Nemesis Bolter!

@@SNBattleReports World Eaters Rite of War - you get +2” to run and charges, plus must charge the closest. Didn’t you use berzerker assault? Broke my heart seeing all those despoilers getting shot. Don’t use rhinos for them! I’ve found just having a squad of 15 with an apothecary running up the table is far better than rhinos. Also, 10 Rampagers with meteor hammers and jump packs with an apothecary and warlord wrecks stuff. And get an Arcus turret.

Despoilers are 1 attack base, 2 for weapons, 3 for charging and 4 for WE trait. So there's no way they could get up to the 5 and 6 you were rolling here. The Warlord trait only gives +1 Str to the unit. Anyway, that aside brilliant battle report! Everything explodes! 💥💥💥

I think none of the units the despoilers charged actually fulfilled those criteria. Would be great otherwise, but that puts quite a damper on despoilers.

I'm not sure it is much of a problem. You lose the leadership and attack if he dies in addition to whatever other gear you may have given him. It certainly is better on multiple wound models but with all the sniper out there it isn't hard to drop a sgt.
