The way the Wounds should have gone for the Morlocks vs. Red Butchers is that the Praetor would take the wounds before the challenge. You can't spill wounds over into the challenge until all other models are dead, including characters. So Robin should have rolled the saves 5 at a time for 4+ and then the rest on 3+. Assuming 7 wounds still went through, the Praetor would take 2 wounds from the combat and leave the sergeant in the challenge.

The challenge still happens at the initiative step but as the Praetor is part of the unit the wounds would go onto the Morlocks and then the Praetor. They would only go onto the model in the challenge once all other models in the unit have been killed.

I think you forgott that Grav is concussive. It can get quite nasty if you are forced to charge Immortals or Morlock Terminators at -1 WS if you fail the concussion test, best part, you just need to wound to force the test.

Although it wouldn’t have made a difference, berserker assault requires the world eaters to charge if within 12”. In turn 4, the world eater tacticals and butchers should have charged pulling them off the objective.

Hate to try and nitpick on another video, but the Iron hands praetor’s WL trait Silver iron Will makes it impossible for any rule to change his characteristics or any for the unit he is a part of. So ravening madmen would not have reduced his or the morlock’s strength in melee. So there should have been one more wound done by the praetor when he hit his murderous strike. Doesn’t change much just throwing it out there Love seeing iron hands played in these battles reps. Helps me get a feel for what I need to look for when I get models on the table. Bang-up job lads

AT 1:21:30 where the Immortals cut down the Berserkers.... wrong played... with the Immortals wearing a breacher shield, they are a heavy unit subtype, therefor they cant run and they cant sweep

​@SNBattleReports this is incorrect. Sweeping advances don't require you to be able to run. Cataphractii armor just has the specific rule preventing them from Sweeping. Breaching Shields or heavy do not prevent sweep inherently.

If we ever play a match, I would prefer if we could use the following rule for Grav and Phosphex: Any unit hit by it, counts as moving through difficult & dangerous terrain until the end of the next movement phase. No pie plate maddness that way.

You got the Morlock v Red butchers combat rules wrong in a few ways. First, not sure why your contemptor wouldn't be getting Brutal 3 for his attacks. Second, attacks from a duel don't spill over into the regular combat, even if one of the duelists dies, the extra wounds just count towards combat res. And attacks from regular combat can't hit duel combatants unless one of them is the only guy left on his side. The attacks from the red butchers should have hit the praetor, not the sergeant. Last, since the praetor had already directed his paragon blade attacks against the squad, his machinator array wouldn't have been able to attack the dread. Also, tanks don't get cover from intervening models, the tank needs to be at least 25% obscured by cover to get a cover save.

Thanks buddy! About the cover yes correct but in many instances with was 25%. As for the duel bit it was a weird one for sure we were a bit unsure how it went as the Preator wasn’t the one in the challenge. Hope you enjoyed the game

Wow...what did GW do to the World eaters. Berserker assault is a complete joke now, they went from the premier close assault legion to garbage tier. FAQ needs to give them back hatred and revert the weapon skill table to how it was because anything with WS 4 is now useless, despoilers should be a WE players main unit.

My apologies, you are correct. I’ve watched a lot of battle reports, and I almost always hear that units like cataphractii, some legion specialist units, and breachers, can’t cut down enemies and they say it’s BECAUSE they’re heavy, evidently that was not the case.
