@@whenyoucantfindafriend9304 G'day again from 🇦🇺 Amy, Yep, the Mt Fuji piece is mine and I'm so pleased you liked it. And yep again, I'm happy to give more detail on those 2 fabulous books I used. Annemieke Mien is a well known and extremely well-regarded textile artist here whose work is in galleries and museums throughout Australia particularly, but also world-wide. She uses fabrics, paints, threads and found objects to translate what she sees and ALL her work is stunning. Jane Nicholas is a goddess (!) who does the most extraordinarily beautiful stumpwork and goldwork embroidery. She's published quite a few books and is well worth a "deep-dive" into her work. She's a fabulous teacher and has travelled to the US quite a bit as well as teaching here and in NZ. I'm happy to give you the ISBN of both of those books I showed if you wish... or to chat more.
