I live in AZ, I saw a group of young people demonstrating some of these different events. The show that I was watching was from 1973. I couldn't believe it! I think it is interesting that these games are still going on today.

I was present at the 1971 Eskimo olympics in July that year. After that, i wondered if they would ever have an NFL football team. You know these guys would sweep the lower 48!

First Nations And Inuits have had conflicts since first contact and still do today or so I hear

matthew mann not any more, I am dene it’s my people who had conflicts with the Inuit because they were seen as invaders from the land bridge. Today both Inuits and Dene aka Chipewyan share the hunting grounds in the far north. Yet somehow Americans keep assuming we are the same people. Hahahahaha

matthew mann btw First Nations means Natives with Treaty Rights. Because in Canada they kept the Treaties made with our ancestors, still stands today from 1771. This subject Americans avoid because let’s be honest Canada makes them look bad because we all know how Americans broke the Treaties.

@@dn2ze Well early on First Nations(Denes And Crees) recognized Inuits were not only tribally different from them but also phenotypically, linguistically, culturally, ethnically, and racially I even watched a documentary film or video or movie and they acknowledge how each would make fun of each other for there looks Inuits usually look more similar to East Asians while First Nations usually look more like South East Asians yeah
