Kalimpong is an unique place regarding the love of producing their OWN CLEESE LOLLYPOP NOODLES etcetera. Nicholas is a very nice person who loves kalimpong and its creative people very much. A great episode, with back to back information... be it the mithai made wth khejoor jaggery nd coconut/peanuts... the 'high on nutrition' kalimpong cheese, the eggless noodles catering to the local food industry... the 'lollipop' wth burnt taste... made wth milk n sugar... also the origin... the market... the shortcomings... n the challenges faced... The ground-seating dining arrangement was wonderful, not to miss on 'dalle.... silbatta'... the red chilli chutney prepared by the local wemen coming in a cluster to make this completely natural... no color... no preservative... product... Finally... absolutely enjoyed the whole 'vartalaap' wth the 'chaiwala'... !

Kalimpong Home Products....used to have very good cakes, bread, buns etc. It was a in house production of my school Dr. Grahams. And really the cheese are one of the best I have ever had.
