Subd, good work. I cant imagine how pissed I would have been if I had to do this and made any small mistake that damaged the cf roof. I have a 23 IOMG M3 and always felt the one thing missing from the m340 was a cf roof. This will look good when it’s finished. Interested to see how you remove the oem roof.

My 2024 m340i came with a carbon fiber roof you just needed to special order it when making one just a heads up

@@tubejorrit when you spec one out at the dealership your advisor is capable of adding options that the euro spec gets the euro spec is a special edition. But yes I have photos on the bmw forms already.

@@M340Fletch Thats a cool option. Sadly here in the Netherlands there are not many M340i sold because of our tax system where cars with bigger engines are very expensive. Almost all G20's are 330e hybrids. I have a M340i touring with the optional M3 seats, a carbon roof would be super cool.

Obviously you will need a new head liner for a non sunroof roof.

The sunroof alone was like 40lbs. The carbon roof and metal roof weigh basically the same, so the only real weight savings is the sunroof.
