Had a great weekend at the World Footbrake Challenge. The rain hurt us on Saturday as I was carrying two entries into 2nd round but we ended up going some rounds on Sunday. Thanks to the good Lord for safe travels and a great weekend of racing. Also a huge thanks to E&C Racing Engines for this awesome motor and Carroll Carburetors for building our awesome carburetors. Awesome racing and love watching your videos but be careful with that brake pedal! I’ve seen guys lose it all by trying to dump with the brakes.

man don't worry about the other car! run your lane! sit back in the seat with throttle wide open! no professional looks like a turkey driving down the track! your the guy that people want to dislike because you want to play in the lane! relax and race your car! you almost lost it trying to see where the other guy is! it;s either your day or it's not don't make it harder on your self worrying about the other lane!

What are you talking about? Hold it wide open? Are you kidding? This kid knows what he is doing and mark my words by the time it's all said and done, he will have won a couple of these things. He drives the finish line correctly and he also is decent on the tree. I should know. I have won a crapload of races in my time at 46 years old. All he needs to do is clean up the tree a little bit and the skies the limit. This kid Pittman can drive. Bottom line

Thank you sumner and yea man this is bracket racing you have to look at your opponent to see how the race looks and see if you have room to get out of it at the finish line. The reason I almost lost it was because I dropped a little to hard on accident but if I hadn’t have done that I would have lost the race because I would have broke out on my dial in.

@@pittmanracing7x21 No problem. I know talent when I see it . I used to go to Carolina all the time for the coalition series. I'm from Maryland so it was cool to go down in early March to get away from cold and snow on the ground up in Maryland. I always did well at the coalition races and they were fun. Travel a little more when you can. The only way to win races on the road is to actually get the experience on the road. It was a whole lot more fun going south than running at my local track which the competition was a little weak. I once won a track points championship not even going after bracket finals was over. That was a month and a half of going to different tracks and still won by a huge margin. Point is keep getting out there and enjoy yourself on the road. I will be watching for you. You got massive amounts of talent and I know you will hit one of these soon. Good luck kid

@@Sumner1028 yea man I definitely want to start traveling more to some of these bigger races. They are a lot tougher and I might get beat a lot but I think it will make me focus a little more and make me a better driver
@Sumner1028
@Sumner1028 Жыл бұрын
@@pittmanracing7x21 When you get beat by these dudes, consider them learning experiences. You got the finish line just about figured out. You have a good sense of when to drop and when to keep your foot in it. Your only weakness seems to be the tree. Sometimes you are really good and sometimes you are average. A mentor of mine named Ed Talbert once told me that a 30 bulb was unacceptable. He told me you have to be 20 or better and if you aren't, you are crap even though you are winning locally. He said that to mentally toughen me up for the road. I'm now going to tell you the same thing. You gotta average 20 or better against these dudes and when you do because you are capable of it, the wins will come.
