The reason Welsh names are so long and look like that is because they are very specific about naming things. For example York means “wild boar town” or “rich in wild boar”. Whereas *Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantsiliogogogoch* means “St Mary’s Church in the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool of Llandysilio of the red cave”

I think it’s much worse being sent to the pacific theatre because you I’ll be dealing with a nation who would rather die then to surrender, you I’ll either be picked off by snipers, get ambushed, or get killed during a night raid while asleep.
