World Hunter episode 8 - Seal hunting in Hudiksvall

To hunt seal is a totally different kind of hunt than the wild boar and deer hunts we normally participate in at home. Since the population of seals is growing very fast in some areas of Sweden, it is very important to hunt seals. Seal hunting is a very nice hunt and one of few hunts performed at sea.
Tobias and Oliver visit Calle Weider at INEX Hunting in Hudiksvall. Hudiksvall is situated app. 3,5 hours drive by car to the north of Stockholm.

Vilken är den bästa kalibern att jaga säl med?, har att välja på 30.06 och 93.62.

Erik, Jag har självklara jagat säl två gånger, men om jag hade de två att välja mellan, så hade jag tagit den jag skjuter bäst med. Utöver det kan man väga in urvalet av kulor. Till kaliber .30 har du större urval. Jag hade helst använt en ganska blöt/mjuk kula. Säljakt rör sig i de allra flesta fallen om att skjuta huvudskott, så alla kalibrar kommer att döda sälen om du träffar. MVH Tobias
