have to agree with this. without sejarah, it will be waaaay harder to memories the map. by knowing the story, you basically get the idea where it is come from. even the clue itself from the sejarah knowledge.

Yup. I'm good at History but super duper duper bad at Geography. I know how Malaysia looks on the world map at first glance but I don't know the shape of individual states. In this video, I only recognized Johor, the state I'm living because it looks like Singapore would fit right at the bottom. The rest is just me main tembak-tembak along with them. Geography and I are just not meant to be.

I believe they will know the state if you put the state shapes to form Malaysia map.. But when you extract the shape individually, not all will know. If you can memorised the shape of each state.. I will say WOW. I can only recognised Sabah n Sarawak.. ✌

I studied Malaysian History and Geography for 5 and 3 years respectively. Got A's in sejarah. Always a C in Geography. I couldn't even guess most of them correct, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't make me any less proud of a Malaysian peeps.

To be honest, our pendidikan geografi & sejarah is very gagal cause we are taught mostly about facts but not the whys and fascinating stories behind the facts. So most students have the wrong impression that geography and history are all about hafal, hafal and hafal.

Honestly Sabah and Sarawak very easy to guess lah ... One shaped like a dog’s head and one is the biggest and longest looking land in Malaysia Johor and Terengganu easy to guess for me because its where i lived and its my kampung.. Penang and Kedah also easy because of the border and how they look correlated to one another. All others i main tembak jela, sorry !
