No Squash courts near me. Plenty of Racquetball courts, but no Squash. I played a bit in my 20s and LOVED it. I then went to nothing but Racquetball for the next 30 or so. Now 63 I'm too feeble to play RB, but I feel that I could still get around a squash court. Alas....back to the couch and a cocktail! Loved watching this. Thanks for posting.

What a sport! The lightning fast reactions, the aerobic workout from the incessant and explosive attacking of the ball. Anticipating your opponents sudden change of direction and shot choice means no chance to even blink. Squash players are the fittest sportsmen and women in the world.

Michael Fennelly ah no Michael everyone is fit for the sport they do. Eg I was a rubbish squash player but was able to beat Derrick Ryan Irish no 1 and professional player in trail running the few times he done it to keep fit even though I was approx 10 years older than him. Squash is very intense and very demanding mentally and physically but you can take little breaks to catch your breath. All sports are tough in their own way. Contact sports like rugby the knocks take it out of you running triathlon cycling are non stop.

Yuzo, actually the ref called "3:all" and not "3:4"...additionally, the server's score is always stated first.

Refereing is something this sport really needs to improve in. at 3:03 the ball is out and the referee does not see it. Its normal, it is a human error but it has an inmense impact on the game. Some rallies before I think Ghosal hits the top of the tin winning the rally but the referee sees it good (as well as the rest of the audience). But it is anoying, as a player I've had oponents serving below the line and even hitting the roof with the ref not seeing it and when you complain (at an amateur level) the most you can get is a let if you are lucky but if the ref is a big head he'll take the point away from you.

I thought that after the ball hits the back wall after the serve, the next bounce should be in the opposite quarter. In other words, is the ball allowed to bounce against the wall between the serve and return?
