On March 1st, I passed out at school and what I heard from my teachers when they found me was my eyes were rolled back and I was shivering. No one knows I was having a seizure until they brought me to the hospital. Turns out I have a epilepsy and I'm a dancer,gymnast and a cheerleader. So watching Briar on WOD and the next step really makes me feel like I'm not the only one. Briar is such a good role model to everyone even non-dancers!

It's amazing to see a performer who has a chronic illness. I have severe chronic back pain, and I was a base on the cheer team and I'm learning contemporary dance. It's amazing to see others overcome their health struggles, because it pushes me to do better myself

Her cut performance and redemption round had great musicality too, but other than that their was only moments in her other dances with musicality. World of dance this year nothing far from inspirational and raising awareness briar has epilepsy, naia parker has selective mutism and kendyl has touretts. Its so inspirational to young boys and girls that just because you have a condition that it doesn't define who you are and you can go out there a dance and smash the dance floor.
