@@kimifan06Calistoga wasn’t all that. Fast , but not much racing. Tulare, Hanford , Santa Maria and older Chico were better. Naturally San Jose was the best track, but politics and the front row Kaedings ruined that place.

I'm also from the same neighborhood.. Baylands Raceway Park, in Fremont, was home, almost every evening for many years. San Jose Fairgrounds was next.

Can't remember the track, but when I was stationed at Oxnard, CA we went to an asphalt track. Stock cars were the main attraction with sprints serving as a filler. I couldn't believe my eyes watching people get up for food and to use the restroom when the sprints came out. The stock cars were so slow compared to the sprints. Still a vivid memory from 25 years ago

What the heck happened to Matt Juhl? Got loaded into an ambulance and there wasn’t a word said about him all night after the crash. Update: Sounds like he has his fractured back, which is what I feared when his car landed the way it did. Prayers for Juhl 🙏🏼

Little happy with those caution flags. Tell the drivers to get out of the groove when they have problems and penalize them if they don't just to draw a caution. It really had an effect on the race and fans and drivers don't want to see that.

Goodyear & M & H tires need to get back into sprint car racing! I really like Hoosier, but they have a monopoly now in the market with no competition, plus the fact they all run a spec tire? Not good ... Tanner Holmes & his sister Carly both destroyed their tires up in Oregon with too soft of a compound ... Also, add Firestone to this list, they used to make a great "rain" tire that you could run the hell out of on a dry slick racetrack ...
