@@derrike50 So they can sell more beer. Just like the 30 minute "track work" between features when you see a show is ahead of schedule. There's a certain time that most tracks like to keep you there until, and that was on full display last night. They didn't start hot laps until 7:10 local time and there was a support class. None of those guys were planning on blowing their tires early so they could battle back through the field. Especially Sheldon because he was leading at the time and didn't have other tires to look at to gauge what his might be like. Kyle ran smart and if it wasn't for all the blown tires at the end and all the unexpected restarts with no laps counting , he has a good chance of pulling that one out. Think about how many restarts they had with 10 laps to go. Every restart was basically and extra hard lap added to that tire. Coulda shoulda woulda..but I'm betting Kyle's tire hold on if even only half of the restarts don't happen. It will be interesting how the track crews and drivers approach tonight's race. I give Sheldon credit for "Driving the tires off of it for the win tho..It ended up falling into his hands at the end.

Obviously most people on here do not understand what happened in this race. You can physically see it. That dull black streak in the slick....that is RUBBER. When a track rubbers up, it has a ton of grip in that lane, but it also wears down the tires really fast. You all should consider yourselves lucky.....because it didn't lock down. One question....Johnny said something about the drivers smoking their second right rear....did they throw an open red and let all the drivers put on new right rears?

This series kept taking back laps ran. They reset 2 completed laps back to back. Donny and Logan should've been a lap down, because the leader definitely completed a lap before the yellow was dropped. Tired of this series screwing the 41, because whenever he blew his tire in the middle of 3/4 before Larson took another lap, they kept it green while Gravel was rolling the top like a dead man. Preach about driver safety, meanwhile the Golden Boy Schuchart nearly bowled through an entire team's crew in the pits, should've black flagged his ass for wreckless driving.

@@theginganinja-_-7695 He drove around him because Kyle knew it was a rubber race. Sheldon got a 2 second lead while blue smoke rolled off his tires every corner. Did you see the line Kyle was driving? He was hardly turning. It's too bad the strategy didn't work out and 22 other guys blew their tires before Kyle.
