Sheldon pulled a Sheldon...man, that dude is undeniably talented, but just doesn't have the best decision making process yet. When he figures it all out, watch out. The guy has all the tools to be one of the greats.

I completely agree.. I’m a huge fan of his, but very disappointing seeing him make moves he doesn’t have to with 2 to go.
@AirborneBuck3 жыл бұрын
@@fxnepilogue yeah man and I hope fans oh his (or Sheldon himself if he reads comments) thinks I'm bashing, because I really am not trying to. I think it's CLEARLY obvious he is extremely talented. If you can't admit that, then you just purely hate the guy. I do think it's fair to say though that he hasn't quite put it all together though. Honestly, he kind of reminds me of Larson when he was a bit younger. He has that fearless type of driving style that Larson has. I've seen Larson have similar woes in a sprint car (and definitely a nascar). It's like patience is lacking. When Sheldon wants to pass a car it has to happen right then and now. I just think he needs to be a bit more methodical when working through traffic. I have complete confidence that he will be putting it all together within the next few years and will be winning A LOT of races. I also want to throw out there that I'm an Ohio boy myself and am always happy to see Sheldon win. I'm a fan of another driver, but love seeing a buckeye represent!

Its inexcusable.
@AirborneBuck3 жыл бұрын
@@markmnorcal I think you're right. From what I've seen from Sheldon, he can make great calculated passes through the field to get to the front. It always seems like once he has that lead he really struggles to make good decisions. He always seems to be impatient and less methodical working through traffic. It's almost like it's a mental thing for him. I have no doubt he's eventually going to mature as a driver and get by this issue. The dude will start winning a ton of races. But yeah, you're not wrong though. It is inexcusable as a professional driver.

I’ve been here, they put a ton of money into the lights recently. Those infield lights point the same way the driver looks so they never actually look into the infield light and the overhead lights are also brand new LED lights. They actually put a light show on before most races, kinda a cool experience you don’t get at other tracks

I love watching Sheldon race ( young, fast and aggressive). The kid has been a WOO regular for the last four years but seriously....after 300+ starts, when does the "learning curve" end ? Top notch equipment and a great mentor in his Hall of Fame father. Maybe he needs to be the first driver to try using a spotter and radio on a regular basis. Have another set of eyes to help him drive

@JoeLinux20003 жыл бұрын
Donnie doesn't have it because he's drives for the Ford Motor program, which just isn't there. Ford power is not good off the start and doesn't seem to have on on the top end either. The motors tend to fade at the end. You can see Donnie's car fading during the final laps when it needs to be strongest. Sweet goes by almost as if Donnie is standing still. It's not Donnie's driving that is weak, it's the HP in the car.

@daeclipse033 жыл бұрын
That used to be where the cars would enter the track from pit road, they moved pit road to turn 4 and put in a new barrier blocking off what is now a parking area for fans so they put the barrels there as a safer barrier. I've seen a car lose its brakes and go head on into that outside fence before and go clear out the track so its a good thing they are there now.
