I served in armor in Finnish Defence Forces back in 2007/2008. Drove a Leo2A4. My platoon leader made me play WoT back in 2012 or something. Still playing with him and my tank commander. Good fun. I loved tanks for a long time, and when a friend recommended WoT to me, I gave it a shot. I had a reasonable knowledge about tanks and how they work. I had a very good start and my knowledge icreased since then, thanks to "the chieftains hatch". I love this game... WoT Blitz by the way

When I started playing a couple years ago, I had been watching Jingles and your vids on and off for a little while thanks to a friend. And I had a soft spot for tanks from an engineering stand's point. Didn't have a super favorite, so having historic tanks like the T-34, M4 and Tiger to aim for was good enough for me. Eventually I really wanted to aim for the Maus, the biggest piece of armored german monster ever built during WW2. Then I visited the Canadian war museum and saw a Leopard C1 in person and while I had been a fan of the design before. Seeing it in person was something else. Been working that light line ever since when I'm in the mood to WoT. Working toward the shift to medium right now to unlock the IndiPzerer. So, I'm slowly but surely getting closer to my goal! ^.^

All 15 frag games are lucky. First, they require you to be significantly better than the 15 opponents, to the point where they cannot do sufficient damage to you before dying that they can combine to grind you down (If they'd done 75 damage each he would be dead before he got through 15). Secondly, they require the other 14 people in your team to be probably slightly worse than the opponents, so that none of them are capable of killing even one of the 'reds' before dying themselves. In short it requires you to be the only decent player, or the only one to have a decent game, on your 'poor' team, and the opposition to only slightly better.

Like many other players, I will admit to heading straight for the German Heavy Tank line, but also the Tank Destroyer lines, for the Nashorn, the Jagdpanther and the (barely) mobile blockhouse; the Jagdtiger. The Maybach engine sounds fantastic, but for me it comes in second to the far more pedestrian, and smaller, O.680, on the noise it makes when you ask it to work hard.

The tiger was the first tank i have ever heard of before playing. I heard them mention it in Saving Private Ryan and it just starts smashing on the allies at the end of the movie. So it was the first tank i went for as well.

The first tank I went for was the Churchill VII, it was significantly worse back when I started because of the old MM but I still love it the same. It's my favorite historical tank and now that I play skirms for my clan it kicks ass at all tier 6 battles! Matilda taught me to play heavy tank with it's forgiving armor, and the Churchill I is my favorite tank to date due to that Vickers 75 and how everyone underestimates it. Two marks on the barrel and it kicks ass at top tier. Happy Holidays to all~!

I went into wot blind, and I checked through the tech trees and found two tanks that I absolutely loved, the tank with the biggest gun, fv215b 183, and a sleek, pretty looking german medium, the leopard 1. So thats what I did and I have been playing for four years now and the leopard 1 and fv215b 183 are still my favorite tanks!

I have to admit, the Tiger I was the tank I wanted to go for first. The German line is also the first tree I wanted to explore as well. When I was stationed at Ft. Knox, I visited the Patton Museum after basic training and could see how much better the armor and guns were on the German vehicles we had there than the US counterparts. Thus my interest in that line. At the time, I didn't realize just how hard German vehicles were to maintain, but I still appreciated their engineering. Fun fact. Parked out in front of the Patton Museum is a Doom Turtle (T95). That thing is MASSIVE!! However, my first thought was "Damn, changing the tracks must be a bitch!". ☺

Why don't you look, it is easy to see. Check the video at the timeline above. The centre reticle is not pointed anywhere near the enemy tank when it snaps into auto aim. There are other examples as well, but this is the most obvious. If you wanted to argue getting 15 kills while using an aim bot is still an incredible achievement, this is true. Only a small number of players have achieved this in any circumstance. Even though this is a game, it is still a real life 'achievement'. And if you 'achieve' something in real life by cheating, and you are caught, don't expect recognition. This appliers to just about anything.

The tank that I rushed when I started playing was the M4 Sherman because I saw FPS Russia driving and shooting a real life Eazy 8 Sherman on his youtube channel and telling how good and fun this "M4 Sherman" was in World of Tanks. However that grind was painful xD. So meanwhile I grinded my second tank: The Hetzer. Why? Because when I searched WOT on KZbin I saw a Hetzer 1 vs 10 replay from a random channel called Quickybaby or something like that and I was like "wooooooow I wan that thing!!!!!!!!!" #TrueStory

I liked the concept of TDs and the fact that the German guns at that time were the most accurate made me go for the JgPz E100 line.

Tiger 131 was hit by three shots from 6-pounders from British Churchill tanks of A Squadron, 4 Troop of the 48th Royal Tank Regiment. A solid shot hit the Tiger's gun barrel and ricocheted into its turret ring, jamming its traverse, wounding the driver and front gunner and destroying the radio. A second shot hit the turret lifting lug, disabling the gun's elevation device. A third shot hit the loader's hatch, deflecting fragments into the turret. I wasn't after a particular tank when I first started playing, I was after the first tank I could get with the German 88mm gun, because of its reputation in WW2 for going through armour. And this was the VK 30.01P, which absolutely sucked (before it's speed was buffed). The gun was good, I just didn't stay alive long enough to shoot anyone with it.

On Console, I went in blind, first tier 10 was the T110E3 but I have a Premium Tiger called Tiger 1 Hammer with slightly worse stats but same pen at 203 mm and it's really good, Only tank I played 1000 battles in.

For me it was seeing a PC game come to Console on the 360, I was so looking forward to the Soviet tanks but they only had American, British, and German tech trees at the time, but they did sell the KV-5 which I played the crap out of and cherished it. My most used tank as of today.

Almost hated the game when I started, but I'm glad I hung in there:) love the content and hope you continue to do it for a long time, cuz I have learned a lot about this game, though I play on console, from you and jingles...... First of all thank you for nice wishes :) When i started playing world of tanks in 2012 my first tank "goal" wasn't tiger I like it was to many other players mine was Maus himself. Though i still don't have it because i was total noob bot until half of this year when i returned to wot and I started getting better at it, I'm not unicum or anything my wn8 is currently around 800 or so but i can get ace tankers and gun marks you know....and also i will soon have Maus(finally) so...I'm glad I became better in this game. Tiger was a big drive for me , outside of the US line... I locked onto the Tiger 1 and did the grind for it...

Yes, my firs tank also was tiger, it took me 4 years to get E100 and i sold it after playing 100 games with it. Also Pz 4 (tier 5 tank) was the first tank i 3marked!
