This tank is a clear example of Wargaming shitting on balance and giving a new meaning to power creep. This kind of armous is ridiculous, not even the O-Ho has anything like this. And let's not even mention the penetration on the standard AP rounds. The tank is just too damn similar both in name as well as appearance to the papertank AMX M4 45, no wonder inexpreienced players shoot at its front and bounce like no tomorrow. It just adds insult to injury. The paintjob is piss ugly, whoever drives it will shit on anyone else who didn't have enough money to buy it, people who bought any other premium tank will be salty, and for a very good reason! Basically welcome the new Type 59. I've never asked for this.

I've been playing with this tank on russian server for a while (I don't have it, only meet in random). If you know about weakspot on the turret (really big!), you can beat this tank quite easily. It is not a steel wall - much weaker, than it sounds. I agree, Wargaming started to sell too powerful premium tanks (like scorpion) and this is road to p2w. But m4 49 is not really that good.

It may not be invincible, but no tank is invincible. It has a cuploa, yes. But the wast majority of people playing the game wouldn't expect a french premium tank to have the armour of a tier IX. Let me try to tell what I mean in a different way: if you could choose between the Löwe, T34 and this, which would you buy? If you already had one of those, how would you feel? If you never had a premium and couldn't afford one, how would you feel facing one of these in your tier VIIIs, let alone tier VIIs and tier VIs?

This tank is good, you are right, but not so good - you'll see it in game. I have a m6a2e1 tank, whose weak spot on turret is much smaller than m4 49 has and if players shoot at it they penetrate quite often. Lowe is a real waste, but IMHO T34 is not really worse than m4 49. Even now it have a good turret armor) But I agree - this tank is better than many HT8 and this is no good.

This is what a heavy tank ought to be. Frontal armour so medium tanks are forced to do their job and flank. Bad side armour so if mediums tanks do their job well, they are rewarded. Now gold ammo needs to be nerfed in some way...

Even *with* preferential matchmaking, the Super Pershing is too weak to pull its own weight consistently in tier 9 matches. The mle can pull its own weight easily as a top tier, mid tier, and even in tier 10 matches.

I bought this tank a few days ago, put my 4-skill FCM 50t crew in and have a 60% win rate after 45 battles (much better than my FCM). If facing tier9/10 use hull down and if top just go forward and destroy! This is an absurdly easy tank to do well in, and if you are a better player you can carry many battles. Just jog forward/backwards to make hitting your cupula difficult. I bought the regular color and then bought camo for all seasons as I am not too fond of the tri-color paint.

Good luck trying hit cupolla of this tank if its driver isnt stupid to give you time to aim. Soviet 122mm gun average aim time is 3,4 thats half second slower, plus chronicall inaccuracy(questionable i know) means you'll not likely hit that small cupola before he starts moving again. Another stupidly set up tank to the game. Does really needs frontal armor buff, if even tier 9s need high roll on pen(or gold) to get through?

Camo opinion: I've always believed in the Achievement system idea that Sam Lockhart also suggested where players must obtain simple things such as "play 1k games in a single tank or achieve 1k games on one crew member" in order to achieve rare camos or rare tanks. This system also rewards the general population instead of only rewarding the best of the best.

Its a completely mediocre tank, but despite it not having preferential MM, its still mediocre, whereas the new premiums are just all around good tanks.

Personally, I dont mind the camos like that if they are only available once in a while on special occasions and if people have the option to use that if they bought it with the tank or switch to a normal camo if they prefer. AMX 50 line is based off the tiger. AMX M4 45 is suppose to be and early stage tank developed off the idea of the tiger 2. They're very similar, although visually I'd say the AMX M4 45 looks exactly like the Panther.

IRL this tank was based off of the Tiger. After the war the French were driving Tigers and Shermans until they could get their domestic tank production back up to speed, so for about three to five years the standard French tanks were the Tiger and the Sherman, and this tank was basically a domestically produced Tiger II.

T32 is the only tank at tier 8 that can bounce 99% of BL-10 shells. Even the liberté wont be able to do that.

good armor don't do crap if you can't get any damage from ever shot fired and being slow. a bounce every now and then i can deal with but when 90% of your shots bounce it's just bad. plus the pershing has lower pen and you can pen tanks better then the t32. so how can a 190 pen do better than a 198 pen aiming for the same week spots. there are many things to account between the 2 but it's just dumb they add more tanks that you will just bounce on without doing something to help the tanks they already have in the game. just to show other tier 8 tanks pen is3 225 mm, o-ho 215 mm, caernarvon 226 mm, amx 50-100 232mm, 110 215mm, vk 45.02 200mm tigerII 225mm. not one under 200mm. now the only other heavy tank with lower pen is the is6 with 175mm but it get preferential matchmaking

You use the bad gun on T32. Use the med gun, with 240 alpha and 248 pen on gold. Thats gun is the best for t32, because of the best penetration adn DPM on par with T8 medium tanks. Full gold obviously.

T110E5 told us that what should be obvious is a lie. Cupolas are not trusted anymore since WG fucked up with HD T110E5. Now unpennable fronts are their new thing, it makes people spam more gold so need more credits so buy more premium accounts/tanks. armor doesnt matter in wot, armor is just gambling, dpm, pen and gun handling is what counts, nobody can use premium armor.

Aim the beak ;) , its about 210 mm thic, and max 215-220 when angled. The upper glacis is about 230-240 and the turret 250-300

I got mine from bonds since I'm returning player and I remembered this tank was amazing but holy. T77, progetto, borasque you can get deleted in mare seconds. This use to be tank now it's target dummy and you server for others to practise aim on you xD. But regardless I still love it 😍

I would not mind these skins as extra paintjobs, like the Aussie camo of the Sentinels. But I would still like to be able to add some extra customisation. Fury and the Military Parade tanks, for example, had their unique decorations but you can still apply a camo paint of your choice on them.

I think the paint jobs should be an optional extra. They should be implamented however you should be able to tick the paintjob on/off in the garage
