Gamers, if given more maps - a better map diversity - would play more and maybe would not quit the game because utterly repetitive (admit: what do you really feel when, in your tier IX tank, you start the game in, say, Himmelsdorf? Or Mines?. Do you feel a bit over-bored, maybe?) Because it’s how I feel. I’d be happy to have a new map every month, while the old ones are fine tuned and constantly made better. What we have is retarded maps (the small ones) and utterly idiotic (like Glacier or Mountain Pass) and, naturally, a constant flow of premium tanks which probably never even existed as “napkin project”! 😂😂😂

Tiger 2 is a joke and has been a joke for a VERY VERY long time. I couldn't tell you the last time I ever hesitated about engaging one. It was probably back shortly after release when the game was still new.

I have 3 MoE on it and the requirements were pathetic, this was the easiest 3 MoE I've had and I was getting rekt 8/10 games. Shows you how weak the tank is. At least it had better engine back in the day but WG removed it for historical accuracy and look at them now pumping out sci-fi premiums one after another with OP stats.

I 3 marked it, that means I was scoring more damage and assistance than at least 95% of all the people who play it, so please show me all these people who can make this tank work in the current WoT - the people whose playstyle and Tiger 2 fit. The numbers I had to achieve to get the 3 MoE are abysmal compared to other tanks in the game and I won't quote them here. I've had tier 6 tanks that required more damage to 3 mark. Tiger I, on tier 7 required significantly more damage and assistance for 3 marks of excellence! Maybe everyone in these 5 % remaining are scoring more than 2K dmg per battle with it...doubt. And to think there were times when this tank while not being a powerhouse was no doubt at least better than the Lowe, IS-6 and a bunch of other premiums. Seems like fantasy now. The times when WG at least tried to make premiums a tad less powerful than the regular tanks, so their game is not p2w are a distant memory.

Honestly that thingy should switch places with the VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. B., becoming the new Tier 9, and VK 45.02 (P) becomes a premium tank with adjusted stats and the tiger II's guns. Why? Because it is designed by Krupp, like the Pz VII... and is not just a design variant of the Tier 8, which has been ridiculously overadjusted to be a Tier 9.

I bought this tank yesterday, and in a normal match I can fire 8 time, 5 of those 8 times completely miss the target or just don't hit where it should have hit and bounce even firing at the rear of enemy, sometimes is frustrating, but when you finally hit and damage it scares the shit out of the enemy. So I think this tank is going to make you feel frustrated sometimes but rewarded sometimes.

I am taking another look at this review because War Gaming has put this on sale again for four days (beginning Oct 18, 2019), and I did not buy it in the summer. I had a Chrysler K rental a couple of weeks ago that I found quite effective (even though I had to use APCR often to be effective). This VK seems to be a lot like the Chrysler K, but with a better gun, and armor that is quite effective. So I am thinking that I might like this VK, and the bonus is that I have several highly skilled German heavy crews to use in it - therefore just need to buy the basic tank and not an expensive package.

@@olegjablonsky3495 I agree with you that it is not OP, but it is not OP at tier 8 and up. It is OP to tier 6 & 7 tanks; 490 alpha is a lot, combined with its armour and corridor-like maps. It's the same issue with the chrysler K and Japanese heavies in general, -2 fucks lower tier tanks up, same tier is just fine, and at higher tier they become more like meat. simple solution is -1, same tier or +1 (only 1 tier difference or same tier), this makes balancing tanks much easier. Though this is too much work for WG and Gold rounds will be used less.

Bought the VK and first battle was top in damage (3,622), top in experience, Mastery Badge Class I, three awards, and made credits despite some gold spam. Wonderful start and very pleased with the VK. Using my 4-skill Tiger II crew (rarely play the Tiger II anymore it has been so power creeped and War Gaming is doing nothing to make it relevant again). Glad that War Gaming decided to put it on sale again for four days.

leopard 1 is far from being dead. I see tons of Grill 15 and Jag Pizdas E100. E50M aint horrible either and arta is very good. It's just T10 German Heavies that are meh ... except VK 72.01 K which is actually one of best heavies. I agree tech tree german heavies suck but not all German tanks are bad.

@@robshootuit yeah... I miss the good ol' days for prem tanks, where where was no OP tank, except the Cockroach 25 and the Pz II J. The good old days where the only 2 soviet HTs had actual drawbacks. Good armor, bad gun. The IS-6 had a tier 8 gun (is not rly a tier 8 gun, it used to had 175 pen) the KV-5 had the same gun the A-43/KV-2/T150 have, the 107mm gun (is a tier 7 gun, but it has 167 pen, quite bad for tier 8, rather nice for tier 7/6/6).

Skorpion has the accuracy and penetration to back that alpha damage up. It's no use to have huge alpha if you don't even hit your shots or when you hit your shots, you won't penetrate. And with that rate of fire on that tank, you will be pissed very quickly when you wasted 3 shots to a tank which didn't take any damage from you.

I think the dpm and the gun handling brings it back a bit, we dunno how strong the lower plate actually is, it's angle could only really make it 180 effective. It's armour does seem a bit fucked though, a bit like most German hts at high tiers. We'll just have to wait and see. Edit: This tank also will need to rely on team mates heavily, it doesn't have the dpm to hold by itself or the brokenly op armour to fend off multiple enemies.

Adalberto Santana here’s the thing, the reason why people bitch about premium ammo is that they’re driving tanks with no frontal weak spots, or very hard to hit weak spots. And wg doesn’t seem to want to hop of the no frontal weakspot train. So how do pubbies balance no frontal weakspots? They load gold. As a 2874 wn8 player, I shoot gold for 2 reasons. 1) to negate rng 2) balance the no frontal weakspot mechanic

I think this might be a good anti defender with that tremendous alpha and decent pen. As long as you can get them at medium to close range should.be a good match up.

I love Skill but he generally shits on every tank that is slow by default. This tank is far from shit if he would drop his bias toward slow stuff. Sure it got weakspots, sure it reloads long , but man this gun is fairly accurate for such alpha at T8. It got decent armor and is not as slow as you would think thanks to got power and resistances. Btw plenty of T8 heavies who struggle with T6s ;p - for example FCM 50T - shit alpha, shit armor. 110 - this thing is horrible and T6s can pen it no problem. But yeah generally you are right hehe.

Bro, this vk has 226 mm of pen and 490 dmg and its premium, the is3 is got 225 and 390. The is3 really needs some love, especially now with all those OP tanks coming out.

You can pen the lower plate with 90% of the base rounds at tier 8 quite easily unless your a pref mm tank and that'll only be a 50% pen. Cupala also has about 160mm/170mm of effective armor too and its somewhat easy to hit. The cheeks are also somewhat large for 250~260 effective armor making it an easy gold round pen because you cant angle identically to a Maus since the turrets side armor is weak too, and we're just talking about tier 8 pen... this will have to face tier 9's & 10's. People complained about how OP the chrysler k supposedly was and now it's pretty much trash unless you are high tier, this one will probably be the same way. The Defender isn't as good as it is hyped up to be either because most people know where to hit the weak spots and sling gold ammo at it as soon as they see it.

For its alpha damage you can make a good amount of credits... What would you expect, damage, armor, dpm, everything to be so good.... There must be differences among tanks, weaknesses and strengths. The latest tech trees have a lot of tanks with big damage, no wonder why games end so quick..

Basically another tank I shouldn't engage with my kv4 because they can easily pen me and I have little chance to frontally engage them. With a slow block of iron like the kv 4 getting on the side of it is equally impossible if it doesn't allow me to do so... I miss the time where the kv4 was about as heavy as it gets in tier 8...
