Well, one is made for some low - med end devices, while wtm needs med - hight end devices, the reason wotb does that is because its done to save space and to cause less lag, and also optimization

But they’ve been working on WTB since 2016 (7 yrs) and since War Thunder PC itself is the most realistic and most detailed military game ever, it’s pretty easy how WTB will win because of WOTB being too “arcade” while WTB is semi-arcade while being as realistic as possible. But I have to agree that WOTB is more enjoyable than WTB.

In my opinion, for WTM the rendering distance is too short, the ui looks like an indie game, the pov is not wide enough and too zoomed in, but I like the realism, details and the game system. For WOTB, it's too arcade and unrealistic, some tanks are too p2w, 7v7 per match is too few and the map is too small. But I like the coloring, PBR effects, UI and fun event modes. But both game are good
