Thanks to you Mr. J this tank become the single most sought after tank for my garage, and I managed to procure it about a year ago when SEA run it in the prem shop for about a week. It cost precisely one arm, one leg and one of my twin children but I was blinded by seal fur and made the sacrifice. Ever since that day it is the first tank I play in each morning...and then I spend the entirety of that day earning enough credits to run it again the next day. :-)

BT-SV is just the Ultimate counter to the II J. You'll bounce 90% of his auto cannon or more, and just butter through his armour.. The gun on the SV, just makes it vastly superior.

There are a number of tanks that can deal with this pest pretty decisively at tier 3, but most are known as seal clubbing machines as well. If there'd been a SU76i on the other team, this could have ended very differently.

"That's the only justice, you will ever see when there is a Pz. II J in your tier 3 match." I once killed a pz.II J in one hit with the American tier 2 arty. Guy came strolling across the field on Malinovka, feeling invincible. One arty shell later, he wasn't feeling so invincible anymore. Still have mixed feelings about the maps currently in the pool for low tier matches. I get that Malinovka and Province basically reward the guy, who has a 100% camo crew, camo net and binoculars and give far too many advantages to sealclubbers. These maps still taught new players exactly, what to expect from a game about tanks, rather than the bait-and-switch with the action-packed Mittengard on low tiers and a campfest on higher tiers.

You know, the silly thing about this is, I play on the SEA server and I bought a box set from Russia which came with a panzer II J. Anyway, I asked Tanitha, the producer for the Asia server if i could get the activation code activated and he said that he didn't want this tank on the server but, if i contact support they would do it. Now, here's the thing, Tanitha is the one who decides which tanks are allowed in the premium shop etc etc, he really didn't want the II J on the server and all of a sudden, we have the II J being sold in the shop, so what a sell out. Just goes to prove that it's just about the money and nothing else!! Also, I have never had a battle in my II J like this. I am always bottom tier and get completely owned by tier 4's, not being able to pen them at all. So Jingles, you failed to say that this is a battle in a thousand. Tell it how it really is and stop making this tank out to be something it's not. Yes, it has great armour but it has terrible mm'ing and so ridiculously expensive to run it's hardly worth the bother. Seal clubbing only happens very rarely! Edit: Jus to prove a point to myself, I just went into a battle in my II J and low and behold, I am bottom tier and the enemy are all tier 4's except like me one tier 3 (poor bastard). My team win but not because i can actually do anything. I lose most of my health because a marder 38T pen's my angled frontal armour easily and I do 109 damage to him and that is with premium ammo and I have to fall back because his two shots at me have taken me down to 53HP. So anyone watching this video, don't even think about wasting your money on this tank because it's not just worth it no matter what. If only I could ever get a totally tier 3 and below match with this tank but i know that it will never happen. At $132 Australian, WG are ripping their customers a new arsehole and they don't give a damn, integrity went out the window a long time ago....

It was Legendary.. but now WG have sold it so many times you see one on each team at lower tiers. And It was overpowered... until the SU-76I came along to counter it. I've ruined many a padders day with that one. Pz II J can't even pen me head on with gold and I only need 2 shots to kill him. And mine only did cost 4 euro, not 99 :P

Admittedly if there's two enemy tanks going up against a Panzer II J, they could probably win. One sits on the cap, the other distracts and/or harries the Panzer II and constantly keeps him tracked, if possible.

I usually play a T-127 or a Panzer 38(t) in Tier III. Both can penetrate a Panzer IIJ from the sides and rear with standard ammo, and both can pen from the front with APCR, which I store in my tanks for just such occasions. It's fun to watch them helplessly try to pen my T-127 from the front (barely possible even with APCR) while I casually chop them down.

I once met a II J in a tier 4 battle, full mag from my covenanter into his rear and his reign of terror was cut terribly short.

The cupola is not a weakpoint. It has 80mm of armor. The only weakspots are the top of the tank, like any other tank, but it can be hit from behind if you are slightly above the tank. And the lower part of armor on the back. Those are both 25mm but are very well angled.

Jingles, you forgot to mention that it has preferential matchmaking as well. It will never see tier five tanks. That is good news for seal clubbers because the Pz II J suffers severely against tier four tanks (at least I had never had problems with Pz II Js when I take out my tier four tanks). In tier three there are some machines (Marder e.g.) that can hurt the II J from the front. AND shooting HE against the "middle" front plate still works very well. If you can't do that: try to get above the II J it's "roof" armor is very thin. Otherwise: sacrifice your tank and ram it in the side ;)

The Pz2J is definitely one of those vehicles originally balanced around Premium rounds costing Gold. That match would have cost him at least 340 gold. Maybe more, I can't remember if it's the first 2 gold per round tier. That tank definitely didn't get played that much with those operating expenses, and has a hard time killing anything without paying that.

Jingles I have one of these. The trick to making a profit is to load 200ap rounds for tier 2 tanks and then use prem on anything in tier 3 unless it is a BT-7

A long while back I was taking out my Pz 38H into a match to seal club some poor people, and I ran into a platoon of not one, not two, but THREE PANZER TWO Js!!! The match ended in a draw. It ended up being me vs the Pz II Js, and nobody could pen anybody, so I just fell back to cap and started derping their tracks when they tried to cap the base. Lol.
