remember another thing guys su12244 also has the premium Td camo rating bonus( the original one from tank destroyers before the nerf), while isu122s doesn't because it came after the nerf, so they introduced the tank with same camo rating as the regular td's.

That gun was the reason why I actually enjoyed (at least in good match-ups) the SU-152. If you can figure out how to make sure your shells go in then you just become such an alpha.

I am glad that you are able to make yourself feel better by putting others down./sarcasm. At the time I was struggling with finding a way to play well in wot. My WN8 was below 100 and I was not having fun. I found QB and everything changed. I was blown away that I was able to do more damage than 65% of NA players in that machine. Sorry for being excited about improvement. Since then I have continued to get better, maintaining a WN8 of over 1100 for the past 2 months. And I still enjoy learning and improving, and QB is still helping with that. Next time it is 2:39 AM and you feel like making a snarky comment maybe you should consider what the person on the other side of the computer screen is going through./serious

I have this tank too and i love it more then the su-122-44!!! the gun is the same but fire faster and has better aiming. less mobile then su122-44 but its the better moneymaker in my opinion

i love that SU 152..... i carry about 10 heat rounds in it.... almost never fire more than 2 or 3.... but hitting tiger 2s in the turret for 998 damage will never get old.

I think one of the main things that differentiates the su-122-44 from this is that the su still gets the insane pre- nerf TD camo bonus. The su does not lose any camo value after firing, where as the isu will. You can be really sneaky with the su. Almost like the e-25. Anyways great video as always!

The 122-44 has been one of my favorite premiums of all time, very dependable and versatile, can fill many roles and adapt quickly, however the raw firepower and decent armor + speed make this thing seem very interesting for a tier 7.

It's the gun on the ISU-122S that's superior to the SU-122-44: waaay better handling, DPM and gun depression. You do, however, sacrifice a lot of mobility and camo if you choose this over the 122-44; so it depends on your playstyle.

For me, the ISU-122S gun is addictive because it hits so beautifully hard. My main overall issue with the ISU-122S are the high vertical sides on the crew box...those are tough to conceal from anyone that gets on the ISU-122S' flanks.

I don't have this TD, but I remember how I felt when maneuvering ISU152 (although liked the gun). I wouldn't get this but rather use SU-122-44 for its much better track traverse and dpm.

I picked up this tank as part of the Berlin Quartet pack on the NA server way back when, and in my opinion, is one of the best premiums for earning money in the game. You can roll 50 to 75k credits even in lack luster games as long as you dont fire gold. P.S: If your using the 122mm gun on the SU-152, your doing something wrong. Nothing quite beats one shotting light and medium tanks with the 152mm doom cannon.

Don't buy this! SU-122-44 >>>> ISU-122S The ISU's traverse speed is horrible, its aim time sucks, and its gun traverse angle is too tight! it is the same tier tier 7 and the armour is exactly double the thickness and if you angle the tank slightly, i have been able to bounce russian 122mm guns reliably

+HerrRoehrich it is a question of playstyle. I'm a below average player and I drive the 122-44 just ok, but with 2 games on the 122S I already got more than 3k Win8. Somehow I can bounce more shots in the 122S than I can in the 122-44. Therefore I would say it's not a must, but a nice to have.

I love this tank. As a 900 average wn8 potato it is one of the few I can keep 60%+ winrate in, partly because of the top tier matches you get when you can 'machinegun' lower tiers to death with ease. It also does not see tier 9 matches really often I feel.

I have both the SU-122-44 and the ISU-122S, and for me there is no doubt at all. The SU-122-44 is the better choice. The preferential matchmaking and mobility is the reason. The marginally better DPM does not seem to matter. I regret buying this one. :) Happy holidays! :-)

I got this tank myself for a while now and I enjoy playing it. Ofcourse mobility, aim-time and accuracy aren't that good, but it can always be worse. I personally recommend this tank for training the RUSSIAN TD-crews.

Played some matches in the SU-152, while grinding for the ISU. The first 15 to 20 matches, legit I was just learning the tank Researched the 122mm at around 60-70 matches I think, and from that point almost every match has gone crazy. Played well, this tank, with a 2 skill female crew, which I had, is an INSANE beast. Being able to deal 390 alpha damage at a rate of fire of 6.39 with a rammer and full skilled loader is just INSANE! For anyone asking themselves if they should grind this line, I totally sustain the SU-100, SU-152, ISU-152 and Obj 704 as the BEST tank destroyers as they have high penetration, insane damage, and insanely wonderful rate of fire and DPM at tier 6 and 7. In the hands of a competent player which has played over 50 games in any of those TD's, these tanks simply beat the shit out of the enemies. And also, imagine how good is ISU-122A if the standard SU-152 is awesome.

I had the SU152 and switched between guns, but being an old guy with a below avg, skill/score I bought the ISU 122S. I have a 122 Premium I bought 2 years ago but could never get on with it. The SU122S has a different feel than its 122 cousins.. It's Big! I have only played a very few games in it. The first 2 were disasters but by game 3 I got the idea. This is not a tank to be brave in. You need to sit back and see what everyone else is doing. I found supporting a Heavy or a couple od Meds's was the way to go as long as team play was in the heads of the other guys. Then it was/could be a great experience rolling up the enemy. For me this tank is a keeper. Happy Christmas, and PS was your Christmas Code supposed to work :-)? I can't recommend that tank, because in so many games I had an unnatural mass of bounces, even on tanks like the Type-34 from a perfect angle f.ex. (and I am quite experience with 20k+ games). The last game I played was against Tier VII to Tier V. From 13 hits were 7 bounces. I will trade mine at the next possibility. You are WAY better off with the SU-122-44 if you need a crew trainer.

don't use APCR ammo because 212 pen is same thing as 175 pen for standard ammo. that 30 mm pen can't make difference against E75, STI... Instead use HE ammo deal dmg, aim for track and get assistance
