I think it's a bug, I've had it happen dozens of times at the end of battle when the last person gets destroyed, usually it's the enemy tank that loses his tracks. If you're in battle, switch to spectator mode on the last surviving tank and watch as he gets destroyed, the enemy tanks if they're close will lose their tracks and turn into hover tanks

@JagGgy R Did you even read the comment properly? You ARE talking about the 430U and not the tier 9 430 right? Both 430U and 62A have almost exact armor angles on the turret. You should really check the armor models. 430 have 310mm effective armor against HEAT on it's weakest area, and it's rather small. That's only 60% chance of penetrating with 330 pen HEAT. Rolling low on the penetration RNG it will just bounce off. 62A on the other hand only have around 255mm effective against HEAT on its weakest point, and it's a pretty sizable area. That's around 90+% chance to pen with 330 HEAT. You have to roll exceptionally low to bounce off that part.

@JagGgy R just a question why would you need to shoot heat to pen someone in the turret plus I wont even start about how the enemy 430u will move back and forth so gl hitting that 4/5 pen shots whille at the same time he can snap shoot you for 400 dmg. Just explain to me the real weakness that 430U has compared to for example e50m cuz they are both big heawy medium tanks. A note tho 430U has same reload speed as E50m with a bigger gun,doesnt have a pen as e50m but can snapshoot like a boss is much lowerproffile has better armour in almost all aspects. But yea he is not as accurate as e50m which has again preety bad gun handeling stats so his aiming time is not as it says it is. And e50m has 3 degreese more of a gun depression then 430U is that it? we should belive that 430U is as good as e50m as same mobillity better armour better gun handeling more dpm and all of that for what 3 degreese of gun depression and it is balanced

Actually in practice the Leopard 1 gun is worse than the 430U because of the garbage soft stats that it has. Also it only has about 100 dpm more than the 430U. So yeah... Fun...

Have to give it to the 705A at the end though. He picked the right ammo to finish the job with by switching to the 840 alpha HE shells. Aside from mid-way up the barrel, there's really no spot on the 430u that it could take a hit from that HE and have survived with 150 health. There might be a small area around the top of the gun mantlet that could have saved it with awkward armor geometry blocking the shell from splashing the Hull Roof, but that's about it.

Alex Kerslake not anyone can do well in the 430U like the 268V4 430U is a strong Tank but not really all that OP my opinion, 140/907 are still far better as Russian meds go. 430U's lower plate is utter hot garbage its only about 175mm thick normally and 200mm at best before you over angle the side. low dpm iffy accuracy poor P/W Ground resentences are subpar subpar top speed still decent bad gun depression... (a trait of most Russian tanks) Frontal armor is only good on flat ground you get above it at all the upper plate becomes hot garbage.. at just 10 degrees the armor is now only 203mm thick WZ5A is pretty much better than the 430U in every way other than camo

This replay shows exactly the reason i stopped playing WoT. Overpowered Soviet tanks (espesially mediums) which are added into the game all the time . It's commonly known that the soviet tech tree is getting bigger and bigger for the last few updates and its tanks are not match for any country's tanks especially the german ones. The biggest foe of soviet tanks were the german ones and the opposite. Now overpowered mediums like the Obj. 430 U are far far better than the Leopard 1 or the "weak" E-50 M . The other reason is the total golden ammo spam that is happening in the game so armor does not count any more as it did in the past. This game is done for me.

Γιωργος Χαβελες but its wrong that armour does not count. I still like the mouse. You can angle your turret and wiggle and move (only time the huge rng can help you). Yes it is not op like the russian ufos. But i would not call it a weak tank either... E100 on the other hand has definitelly seen better days, yes. But you are right...wargaming would help the game by actually balancing the tanks. No one wants to see only one type of tank against the same type of tanks in the enemy team. Balanced tanks and balanced maps with different features would bring diversity into the game. But as it is now, wot have killed their e-sports character, lost a lot of customers and have made a game that is not interesting for new players at all - at least not for long time players who bring in money in the long run... Wot is far from being dying, yes. But there will be a point in the future, where the number of players will decrease and an active e-sports and clan community could prevent that. And that is basically my problem with unbalanced tanks. I would not mind playing worse tanks or not winning all the time, but having no chance to win, just because you spawned against too many acceptable players in russian tanks on small city maps, is just not interesting, has nothing to do with fairness and competitivity and just sucks... Even QB admitted that some new tanks are too good. Even some premium tanks are better than their normal in-game variants...and thats not helping new players. It scares them away in the long terms, even though it brings in money in the short run. But wargamings focus should not be short term financial success, but a happy vivid player base in the long term. Even in economic view this would be the "better" choice for them...but who am i...

I have to agree, QB - I much prefer the Object 140, for similar reasons. The 62A is arguably stronger, but the 140 is just such a magnificent drive. It doesn't have anything it doesn't actually need, its angles are steeper, and instead of having one specific strength, it has several general advantages, which all counted together makes it feel more... *agile*, I suppose. It's the one that will get your nose over the finish line in that photo-finish game of a lifetime. To the extent that Soviet vehicles are philosophical in the first place, the Object 140 is the "thinking man's tenk". :)

Dont get me wrong this guy is really skilled and has good situational awareness but my god the amount of luck and rng in this game..... I had games like this in 430U multiple times but I always get killed around 6-7 k dmg with a shot similar to that bounc of t10 or the bounc of amx in the back (for me that would be end of the game cuz I dont have rng that will save me like him :D). So in the end rng makes all the difference because no matter how skilled he is if the rng says you are going down then expect pen throu the gun mantle ;)

I find it hard to believe anything that extreme would happen without Either an absolutely terrible crew or damaged gun/gunner. I get screwed by rng maybe once a day if I play for 3-4 hours, which is already way above what any real tank back then could have hoped for. All I'm trying to say is that rng can be negated if you know what you're doing. I'm not trying to defend WG by any means, they certainly have their problems but rng is to be expected whilst in a tank.

I Like my AX Most I think its the best medium for my Kind to Play him with his good turret Armor and the good gun depression

It is better to not know the battle's outcome. Ph3lan used to have a weekly fails series on his YT channel and suddenly he stopped saying if the battle will be a win or a lose and it was more exciting to watch. I guess you know Ph3lan, QB - the hungarian guy who works for WG
