Well, it depends how you look at it. I think nearly everyone takes the shot against a low tank if he can. And its not really wrong to do so either I think. Don't get me wrong, in some games you can give the kill to a teammate if you see he's close to a medal. But: in a close game like this, I think its only right to take out the tank if you can. First of all, in such a game do you really look at the stats to determine if someone is close to a medal? Second: as long as you don't know where all the enemy tanks are, it would be possible for the last enemy tank to show up. The sooner he is the last tank, the lower the chance he can surprise someone. For example: if you didn't kill the enemy arty, and QB took the killing shot, it might have been possible for the enemy to take the chance and kill QB during his reload, leaving you in a 1on1 against a higher tier tank (which would be bad in most cases, but even worse if the higher tier tank is an OP beast like The Pz. V/IV) Sidenote: The "little poppop gun" on the luchs is actually pretty damn good at close ranges. It only gets bad at mid to long range.

Well on console it easier to aim for weak spots and same with what the other guy said. Premium vehicles dont get preferential matchmaking on console. Plus arty is different and you got high aplha dmg tanks like kv85 and IS and others. And then theres players like me with my hellcat with 6 crew skills on it and insane camo and speed andvery experienced

I was very upset, it was great and a thrill to roll out the "Mutant" and have people going WTF is that??? or people would mistake it for the lower tier M-6. it is just a fantastic combat vehicle, panther hull stronger more smoother, not a panthers turret but a pz IV turret to allow it be lighter cheaper, a faster rotation. if it was mass produced it would of been a real bugger to the allies.

The Panther and Pz.IV are my favorite tanks in the game and irl. Being able to buy this little combination has been a dream for years! I started playing in 2013 and every time I visited the wiki I'd kick myself for not having one. The tank had 8 years of exclusivity. Good enough! If anything WG should just give the special alpha skin to previous owners so they still can have snowflake status.

From what I understand, the historical V/IV was a panther hull with the Pz IV-turret welded on top, in a fixed position, at a workshop in one panzer-division or the other. Apparently it was used as a command vehicle during the battles around Arnhem in 1944. As for the black market...I'm just waiting for the Pz38H(f). :)

WG as usual brings to the game some interesting armor. The issue if a purist, the Pz IV turret was actually bolted/welded in place. Leaving the panzer more like a stug, but only with up/down, no left/right movement of the weapon. This V/IV was used mostly as a command tank from a distance.

They are selling "Rare" tanks in the black market, and they are rare for a reason... because they probably got removed because they were overpowered/unbalanced. Even though at the moment of the video you didn't know, they also sold quite alot of Pz. II J, which in my opinion is just outrageous, tier 3, tier 5, and tier 10 (a bit) have been made a nightmare already thanks to this event. I think more offers should have been like the T34B (Which was offer of today 28-5-2019), 8.5 million credits for a not overpowered premium tank, which benefits free to play players who have been saving up (If you caught it!). I also didn't mind the Gold Type 59, the tank is a pretty good medium... but it is just the skin you are paying insane amounts for, and think selling skins / visuals is a better way to monetize a game, like many MMORPG's do.

The Pz. V/IV s were technically used in WW2. Many tank commanders had lost their Panther's turret, and replaced them with the redilly available Pz. IV turrets, which were in surplus, in relative standards.

It's a very competitive tank, managed to get my 3rd gunmark on it roughly a year ago when it was one of the hardest gunmarks to get on the server (due to the low HP available on the tier and only great players playing it). You needed something like 2800-3000 combined on Tier 5 to advance the mark. Have the 3-marking video on my channel as well as more videos on this tank in general. Shame WG tried to sell to many of it, instantly removing it's rare status. Additionally, they should not have been sold in the first place as they were marketed as Pre-Order exclusives (forever) and thus WG actively lied to it's customers and scr@wed them over.

Well I do pop on for Halloween. That's at least more balanced. God I put so much money into that game and was damn good at it until the meta became buy the next new tank which is a reskin of an old one with an auto loader or just some BS gold spamming made up God tank. I played from the day it was on xbox 360 and always wanted it to be as cool as pc version. It all fell apart when it became wot mercenaries. I kept playing until every single unique premium vehicle I had was resold as a better version for no reason other than to make money. Can barely play maus to just enjoy angling the armor. Invincible buyable top tier tanks just roll up and kill you on the spot like you don't have armor. I wish I could get my money back or a side version of the game that doesn't run like shit and has the graphics from like 2 years ago. For some reason they dumbed them down and it looks like a cartoon. I didn't keep buying the new premium tanks. Y'know where that got me? From a well earned 87% win rate to a damn 56%. That's thousands of games just losing because my team didn't have enough gold tanks. Skill be damned when anything sold can end a top tank with a magazine in 15 seconds flat. I used to goof around in the game with my best friend. Balancing the O-I on the Tog 2 in the big desert map that looks like sinai from bf1. We'd drive around blasting and confusing people while falling over laughing. All the fun stuff is ruined and unless you're willing to go out of your way to grind silver so you can grind your awful stock tank with gold ammo... Well you won't get very far. *Cries* used to be my favorite game. I put easily 1000$ into it over the past 10 years

I don't find it enjoyable to play at all. It's equivalent to kicking puppies simply for the fuck of it. It's absolutely game-breaking and really shouldn't be in the game at all.

If a game developer sells something like this, and the player base (knowing how broken it is) still spends lots of money just to get their hands on it, it encourages the developer to release more tanks like this, causing further harm to the game in the long run. It won't be fun any more at that point and the game will die out. So yes, playing it is like kicking puppies for "fun" and we shouldn't have access to it. Don't be part of the problem.

being one of the few that have had this tank from the very start (and seen it being turned from one of the worst T6 tanks into one of the best T5s) i must say it is really good for a T5, and one of the absolute best rammers in mid tier. only real weakness besides the bad turret is that it is super exposed to artillery, since it is very big and the top of the tank is very weak to HE. and derp guns hitting the turret will splash through the top hull easily

I've had the Panzer V/IV for eight years. That's long enough that significant number of the game's current playerbase was too young to play World of Tanks when the vehicle was first offered. Punishing people for not getting here years ago doesn't reward me, it just takes content away from other people. It also was, for a long time, at Tier 6. Where it was shitty. Then it was just bumped 1:1 on Tier 5. Where it is very good. Including the special matchmaking, which it honestly doesn't need at Tier 5. There are tons of tanks with the same gun without SMM, and without a strong hull. Just like at the T 34 85m it shows, what happen, if Wargaming just increases parameters/ down tier it, but forget about the rest.
