I bought one because it was packaged with the Patriot. Something to consider about the Federalist style is that it is a permanent camo for all three environments. So there is some substance and not just style.

0.38 dispersion means you can't reliably hit anything. HE doesn't pen anymore. You can say overmatch all you want, but that mechanic seems to have been deleted since the wheeled vehicles came out.

Though this new premium has the skin as an add-on, basically like the premium camouflages so you can take it off. It's an interesting method, if I could I'd buy the patriot for the skin as I have a patriot already but they count as different tanks

QB The AMX 13 F3 has a 155 mm gun which is the biggest caliber gun for SPG's at Tier VI with the M44 so as far as this match goes you couldn't have gone bigger...

One small issue, the T78 has a crew of 4 but the T67, T28 Concept and Hellcat have a crew of 5 which is not so good for crew training. Can't wait to see the single crew training manual hitting the WoT store very soon....

It's a fun tank to play and if you get the bundle with the Patriot it's not too bad price wise. I probably wouldn't have got it unless I wanted the tier VIII Patriot and the fact that you can use a coupon when you buy the 'Back To Back' bundle helps. Given the choice though I'd have bought a Skorpion or, even better, a Progetto, but they are not available on the NA server at the moment.

An old thread...but. I got this free and began using it with only premium rounds. It sees a lot of tier 8 games and does well against them. 54% winrate. 1.90 damage ratio. 1.60 k/d ratio. 49% survival. 66% hit ratio. 950 games. Snap shot, steady aim, run n gun plus others, but it won't hit shit if it's moving even a little!!!?

Reviews are skewed in favor of promoting War Gaming using not a just a 100% crew with no perks and consumables. Not everyone has the credits to use consumables or 3 perk crews in game play. Lets see real reviews with just a 100% crew and no consumables used in game play to get a real feel how the tank is.

While I like QB how is 221mm limiting? It is enough to pen a defenders lower plate about 75% of the time. It is more than most tier 8 meds have as standard and they can face tier ten. Maybe 221mm is still very good and increasing penetration by over 50% is just unreasonable.

@@Bagheera2 That does not comply with my experience. I have about 1100 games in it. The gun is superb in terms of pen and alpha. The accuracy is decent. The gun depression makes the tank even more fun to play. You will find numerous games on KZbin with 5000 and 6000 damage.

@@Betterhose I was a noob then so I didn't have bias crews with snapshot, so it had "German accuracy" when it wasnt fully PERFECTLY aimed it whiffed badly. I may use a credit restore on it but likely wont drive it much. I like my tds to be mobile. I rarely use binos if the base view range is high enough.

The Jackson is one of my favorite tanks and pound for pound it is better than the Hellcat only losing out against the Hellcat in mobility. I would love to hear your opinions on why you see more Hellcats over Jacksons, what am I missing?

1. It is really just that mobility which makes the difference, mobility is the king for such a TD, making it a well worth trade-off for minor improvements in everything else that Jackson has. 2. It is a followup in the tech tree to M8A1 and T67, and since the later is ridiculusly effective (thus popular), and they beat their US brothers of the other line on their respective tiers, then there naturally way more Hellcats as result as well. Even if Jackson doesn't lose tier-for-tier comparison as much as its predecesors.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES WG ever made was 'tier 8 premium' tanks. Tier 8 skill level is far to high for totally new players to be able to hop in and play. All premium tanks should have been limited to tiers 3-7. This way new player who purchase aren't thrown in against players with 50,000 battles. It would also make higher tier gameplay better, as 9-10 gameplayer would have ZERO brand new players mucking things up....

A) plenty of sealclubers with 50k battles in low tiers. B) if tier 7 was maximum tier for premiums tier 9s would still get those new guys buying high tier vehicles. C) difference in skill level required between tier 7 and tier 8 is almost nonexistent.
