Why bush works 101: One set is a vertical row of bushes meaning the camo radius overlap and there is no gap. One set is a horizontal row of bushes meaning they don't overlap as much and gaps do happen. Disclaimer: horizontal and vertical assume the ennemy come from the top direction.

radio range is a little overrated, honestly. Rarely are you going to be more than 400 meters or more from an allied tank so their radio will interlock with yours,, and theirs with the next tank,, and so on and so on. Gigantic radio range is really helpful for tank destroyers who might be a ways behind the team,, but for a medium, a giant radio range, esp with .38 accuracy, really doesnt give you an advantage.

they def are, especially now that crewing up is super super easy, you buy a premium tank, it usually comes with 100% crew (thought most people do not use it, they use the tier 10 crew) so then you spend 4 mil on 2 universal crew books, 500k exp right off the bat, i think thats usually got me 3 skills/perks and then you add all the boosters they been giving away for free, i have hundreds of 200 and 300% crew exp boosters, you pop one of those, then do your x2 if your in a clan, the clan pops their crew booster and you go into skirms by the end of the month just goofing around you'll have 4 skills and part way into 5th one. because the majority of players buy tier 8 premiums specifically to crew train their tier 10 crews, often times by the time i buy a prmeium tier 8 my tier ten crew already has a bunch of skills in it (cuz i can never afford it when a new one comes out in the middle of the month, so i just wait till they come up for sale again, took over a year and a half to get the defender, by then my object 277 crew had 5 skills already lol, long story shot, most people put their highly skilled tier 10 crew in the tier 8 premium tanks.

Especially as the VTU has nothing going for it... its an ugly, gigantic box of non-existant flat armor with mediker gun handling, ok-ish DPM (with the 8.8cm, medioker DPM with the 10.5cm), bad gun depression of only 6°, meh penetration, meh view range, average mobility... and it does take module and crew damage like hell. Apart from the ok DPM with the 8.8cm gun this tank has entirely nothing that would make it a "good" tank... At least give it the autoloader. Better reload and gun handling than the Premium Skoda, but slightly worse mobility, gun depression and boxy-nes. Like the Progetto vs Panthera...

Small suggestion for WG that can make this tank better, change the intro clip reload from 1.8s to 1.6s and damage from 240 to 250. So now we have a higher alpha and faster shooting progetto 46 with lower dpm and everything else. Making this tank unique for its burst fire.

the bush on the south side of fisherman's bay works because it's longer and therefore there is more bush between you and the nearest enemy, whereas the north side bush is sideways perpendicular and thus much shorter from north to south

Those bushes actually do work if your WN8 is higher than yellow. You can actually pull back and go hull down pretty easy with light tanks as long as you have 7 degrees of depression you can see the lower plates of everything in the other bush, spot pull back and fire sort of meme. The main reason the bushes on the other side werent working is because they continuously fired in the bush to break its camo.

10:38 the reason for this @quickybaby is because the side you are on has an extra 2 or 3 bushes stacked together whereas the other side only has a row of bushes 1 thick. Given that bushes only give a certain amount of concealment and bushes concealment bonus stacks the side with the line of bushes gets spotted immediately upon moving towards the Bush line.

Napalmer Lorr has higher alpha, more shells, and longer reload between the shells, while the Skoda and Progetto are quite similar in this way. Likely the Progetto and Skoda has a more similar play style.

Finally another premium Czech tank. I have been waiting for more Czech tanks for it seems like ages. I had to log over 1000 battles in my Skoda T-40 to get my crew trained up enough to be competitive at higher tiers. Now I shouldn't have to work forever to be competitive at tiers 8-9-10. Just bought the T-27. I kinda like it. You are right in that the gun feels a little underwhelming. its sort of like playing a Panther with an autoloader. Three shots of plink-plink-plink then run and hide for 22.5 seconds. all the while wondering if your team will have your back.

I have a theori about the bushes. I think there is a small gap between the ground and the bushes after they made the maps HD. So when you drive up a hill and into a bush you get spotted, because the spotting points on your tank go past that gap between the ground and the bush. Maybe Im completely wrong, but to me it seems to be the case.

Been grinding my t 44 the last few days and have encountered alot of skoda t 27s. I was able to pen the turret cheeks regularly with standard ap of the 100mm gun (190 pen). The gun mantle will bounce those rounds however it is not very wide. Do not expect to go hull down in your skoda and fight effectively. You will have to brawl and wiggle alot.

Hey Quickybaby, I think that this tank is spot on in terms of balance. I understand that you gotta compare it to the Progetto 45, but comparing it mainly to arguably the best (or at least the most fun) tier 8 premium tank in the game may not show just how solid the Skoda T27 is. For example, I would prefer to play this than say the Super Pershing or the FCM 50t. I know that that's just my opinion though, and I absolutely agree with you that these premium tanks should fulfill a niche of some sort. Regardless, keep making terrible content, you are awesome.

As a tank hoarder, I feel obliged to buy this tank which will set me back almost 40 €. That's a lot. Thing is, what QB did not highlight, starting tomorrow there is this special Tsjech event lasting 10 days. Each day a mission will become available for you to play in a Tsjech tank, giving you all sorts of bonus goodies. Nice. But if you play those special missions in a T-27, you will be rewarded with more bonus loot, which makes buying this tank for real money just that bit more enticing, almost like a reverse marathon. Very devious of WG. Anyway, the bonus loot is quite alluring, extra credits, training books and blueprint for the Tsjech tech-tree and a female crew to boot if you complete all ten stages.

I think there is a misconception regarding tanks DPM. The way I see the matter, is you cannot engage tanks like dominos in the current game. Meaning you’re almost always shooting and taking cover instead of standing on the trigger and racking up shot after shot THEN damage per min would be of some measurable use. Nobody can except once in a while if you’re not spotted constantly put lead on target. So why do we always gauge dpm? I digress. Honestly, I think they need to stick with 3 shells in the magazine. It fits with the rest of the line. However, buff the full mag reload time, and give it some gun handling buffs and it could be a nice tier 8 premium, without being over powered.

Niche it is. Lorraine has 1200 clip, longer inter, longer full clip. Progetto has 720~ clip, smol inter, longer if you dump full. IS-3A has op, op, op.

well, be careful to compare all the time to the Progetto46 - it's OP.. no, it needed better Gunhandling and better Pen (212mm or 217 even) then.. same or better softstats for the Gun and 2.0 Aimtime (so its going to match with the intraclip reload) - in the state it is now.. 4 Shells needed / like Lorraine

I'm actually having much better games when in the center bushes for the north spawn. I also always shoot down one little building in the direction of the city to get juicy side shots at heavies who think they are completely safe but there's just enough pixels for me to get shots off while it's super hard for them to keep me spotted, find the opening and aim in time before I pull back. That position also gives you nice line of fire at the enemy sniper nest in the south-west corner when your scouts manage to spot them.

QB still the best at doing technical review of the tank. Thanks also for your honest opinion about it. Having both Progetto and Lorraine I won't buy it. The little low pen coupled with the 240 Dam make this tank a little weak in my opinion. At least for a Noob like me

280 Alpha could have been a good middle ground between 240-300 alpha. very lackluster damage especially since the Progetto can do way more with the 240 alpha due to its autoreloader, The T 27 should have the damage model of those British tanks that get a 280 alpha gun

Well, its not unbalanced, because the enemy still has a very good position right after that building: you can shoot from there quite safely
