@Skreebee PTR is the public test realms, blizz releases the patch on a test realm so people can try out the fight and can fix it w/o ppl bitching on live

@kirijnovel it's a custom ui made by kripparrian. you can check his videos for a tutorial how to put it up, he's got a download package with all relevant addons needed as well. i'm using a modified version of his ui and although it's a pain in the ass to configure all addons correctly, it really pays off in the long run because it's much more efficient and much clearer/minimalistic than the standard ui.

@MrDeadlyRicardo Heroic mode may likely be comparable to LK 25 HC with 30% buff from what ive seen/read/tried. It does drop equal loot to LK 25 HC so.... you can only guess tbh. Its infinite tries though which makes perfecting it easier.

About the encounter. Make sure to bring more than 5-6 healers! My guild has downed him yesterday, and I just want to say that it is better to bring 8-9 healers as Kripparrian says. We have done it with 6 but we wiped ~5 times. The most difficult part is for the downphase tank. The beam is deadly if downphase tank sucks.

Hey umm Krip has the tuning on this fight? For example dps hard? I assume it's abit healing intensive from what you said, but dps wise ect... or will guilds just go in and one or two shot this boss and it'll be like 0drake Sarth?

I just did the raid (not halion though, doing him tomorrow) The first miniboss is way, way, WAAAYY different than the PTR, they really changed the fight big time. The other bosses are relatively unchanged

Not complaining, but it's not a teleport between an upper and lower level. It's a portal between the physical realm and the shadow realm. The two concepts are directly analogous, of course, but if, as the raid leader, you use the terms "upstairs" and "downstairs" during the fight, you're going to confuse a lot of people, especially in a pug.

@slzslz Once you're over 700 armor pen on the gear alone, you want to start switching your gems to armor pen instead of agility. Once you're past that number, armor pen will continuously grow better than everything else for you the more you have, and the only time you'll use anything other than fractured gems will be for the meta bonus.
