Just a heads up about the starting locations. You only get to chose if it’s at least your second character and up. It forces exiles reach on a new players brand new 1st character. I just started characters on separate accounts and figured that out 😊

Shadowlands was very bad I agree, however with Dragonflight they seem to go into a right direction again since Microsoft bought Blizzard Also, Cataclysm classic is coming which is by far the best expansion after wotlk in my opinion, classes were very balanced and fun, while raids were very challenging but also rewarding and fights were epic, pvp balance was also the best in that expansion @@ok217

Same !! I played wow for like 6 months when I was a kid. Was always a runescape player, but decided to come to wow when Dragonflight was released. Best decision ever, the game is so chill, you don't need to spend hundreds of hours to see progress. It's a really MMO for someone who works and to play a couple of hours per week at the moment.

Ive onky played WoW a little bit a few level 60s in classic. Purchased the Base game DF and begab retail today. I will say its so much fun. Started a shadow priest and im currently lvl 32 or 33. The pacing is so much better than classic that im used to. I must admit thiugh, ive got 0 idea as to what im doing 😂 besides quests and dungeon finder

I just started my second character and he finds so much more gear than my main character it's so awkward to be like oh hey armor or oh hey weapon every few minutes when my other character only gets gear from quests lol

I'm a bit lost, I started a week ago, and made all the way up to 55 with my prot PLD. The thing is, I have no idea how to tank, as all my levelling has been done with random quests etc, and I've only done like, 2 dungeons (thankfully with new people like me) , so the idea of getting to higher level and have to do hard stuff without truly knowing how to play dreads me, although it sounds exiciting. Just hope I can find a group which I can practice with, I'd hate to get flamed just because of being new and have no experience

I just started playing 3 days ago. Lvl 36 at the moment and super hardstuck. Im on the verge of dying after every 2 mobs. I even got some gear off the AH and used a leveling build from IV including skill rotation. I genuinely don't know what I'm doing wrong... Plus the AH gear (that didn't help at all) consumed ALL the gold I got until that point (2000g). So I'm broke, I don't deal dmg, and I die... I even had to abandon a main story quest chain because I can't survive the quest

1-6 same keys for me except i shift+ 1-6 and ctrl+ 1-6 keys for 18 binds and for mounting ctrl+space ground and shift+space for fly mount for a total of 20 binds

Can you boost to level 60 on your first character? (Dragonflight edition level 60 boost) My buddy was saying the boost only work after you level your FIRST character to 60, you can then use the boost for a second character.

I’ve been playing for a month nearly and just got a grip on it, as new players we have a lot of content to go through so in that way we’re lucky, you could pretty much make a class for each expansion and level them through it with dungeons on the side. The game lacks so much clarity and tells you nothing so hopefully you don’t do what I did for a week and walked around accepting every single quest. Make a goal and stick with it, I’ve been trying to unlock each allied horde race and then will do the same alliance side.

Hey I just started playing a couple of weeks ago, and I just cannot stick to a class. You'd think after a couple of weeks I'd have a max level character and be doing endgame stuff, but not only have I not seen any endgame content, I haven't gotten one character to max level yet. I keep making new characters before I hit max. I don't know if I just can't decide or if I'm getting bored of the character I'm playing and want to switch it up, but I really hate levelling but I get so bored of the characters that I make a couple of days down the line that I make a new one. This has gone on 3 separate times. First off I levelled a fury warrior orc up to level 60, and I hated the class in levelling and found that I dislike the feel of the race, so I dropped that character. Felt like I wanted to be alliance so I made an alliance character even though all of my friends were horde. I played a Mage to level 20 on alliance, didn't like how squishy they were in levelling so I dropped that character and made ANOTHER warrior even after I had a miserable time with it the first time. I now have that warrior to level 45, and now I'm debating making another character. Not to mention I made probably 10-15 characters in between those 3 that I got to level 10 or so, and dropped because of one reason or another. Now I'm debating going back to horde so I can play with my friends again and starting the levelling process again. I don't know what's wrong with me, I really wish I could just pick one of these games up, pick a class that looks cool with a race that looks cool and just play the game. That hasn't happened so far. I've just made excuses for every character I've made so that I could try a new one, but I've done it so many times that I am just so sick and tired of levelling characters, and I really hope I don't stop playing the game due to boredom and repetitiveness. The game isn't meant to be played over so many times, at least not in this small period of time, and it's making me incredibly bored. I just want to have a class/character that I like, and I just want to stick with it but I can't do it for the life of me. What do you recommend I do?

I bought dragon flight never played wow. I didn't know there was a base tutorial game because when I went to play the dragon said it reccomend me to play that before dragon flight. So I did, but I want to be a dragon. Do you think I can play dragon flight, or do I just stick to playing the base game?

I believe they give you the option to play as a dragon (Evoker) right off the bat, but they make you confirm that you know you're getting thrown into the laters stages of the game, dragonflight. It is best for newer players to at least go through the tutorial, and then the Battle for Azeroth campaign as it gives you a good insight of what to expect from the game. Once you get a good grasp on what you're doing I'd totally recommend playing as a dragon!

I decided to play the game 3days ago and i really enjoyed it it was pretty fun but what forced me to quit is the community, dude I cant describe how ppl treat me in dungeons they just vote to kick me trash talk on the chat towards me and some ppl saying just uninstall the game. I've tried to play wow many times, but it's almost impossible for me. The amount of buttons and buffs/ debuffs to keep track of is impossible for me to learn. And why does it not tell you anything about why im there and why im a fricking hero? i want to know about the past expansions... It's all so confusing. As a disc priest I just bought the expo coz it was on sale. I paid 150k gold to get boosted 60-70. Pvp has been the best its ever felt. Quickly geared. Now I'm going back to do the quests to get dragonriding so I can goto the new zone!

So the reason I play mmos is end game raids. I did it in rift, lost ark, and just finished the new ultimate In ff xiv. Anyway I hear wow has good end game raids and mythic is equivalent to savage/the easier ultimates difficulty from xiv but I've also been told getting into endgame raids as a new player is toxic and most parties won't even let you join. How true is this? I don't want to even start if it's going to be a big issue that just stresses me out lol

Unfortunately, super fucking true. Join a guild, is the best advice I could give. There's a set of players who think they're really good, and they're unfortunately the majority of people doing shit in the +10-15 range. If you find a cool guild, that's what I'd recommend. I also started this game in SL with the goal of doing end game shit. If you're trying to pug your way up, I'd have to give you the advice to just... Not start. Which really, really sucks to say. Even though I think the community has actually gotten better, it's still a bit of a clusterfuck. Especially compared to the FF14 community. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck!! /Salute

you will be judged and told "sorry your DPS is too low" your "iLvl is too low" etc (this happened to me when I wanted to see the story behind Siege of Orgrimmar). FFXIV on the other hand I've never had a single player comment on my gear in all the years I've played.

Unfortunately no there is no dismantling system. You just literally sell it to a vendor once you can no longer use it. You can disenchant it if you are an enchanter and use it for crafting, but that's it.

Want to get into current WoW? You will need to watch a bunch youtube guides with will blaze through a dozen game systems in under 5mins without explaining any of them, Have the wiki bookmarked, and hire an in game tutor. Its actually quite simple.

Druid is such a fun class, I love how you can get different looks for your animals in the later stages of the game! You can do content with anyone, just keep in mind that if you choose the race starting zone, your friends will have to choose the same race, or wait until you reach the main city. If you choose Exile's Reach, you can play together right off the bat. Ensure that you're playing on the same server/realm as well! If you need more help let me know. If your friend is a much higher or just a different level from you, there is a party sync feature that allows that friend to complete the content again at a similar difficulty level to allow for some fun times! For gear: - The class you choose usually has a preferred armour type, your druid wears Leather armour. - Go for the item that has a higher item level, or better stats! - Try not to wear other armour types (Cloth, Mail, Plate) as they usually don't benefit your character.

My favourite bit about WoW is the endless walking around. As a new player you will spend 60-80% of your time completely lost without any indication of direction, or ability to traverse between locations without even more... walking. I came back to WoW after several years away and I'm impressed how much this game has improved but unfortunately the repetitiveness and endless walking into dead-ends still plagues this game.

Lol! that is funny, the fun of the game comes from the player! It all depends on what you want to do. There is no reason to get the best armour in the game if you don't want to. As mentioned in the video, you can spend your time doing other more casual activities that other players choose not to. This can include pet collecting, fishing, mount collecting, transmog collecting, profession grinding, and more!

@Nynx but if I want armor that's only in a raid....that means ima have to try to get bis because I'm sure groups only want high tier players. So it's still forcing you to get the best gear

@@itsyaboiherman Yeah that is totally up to you in that case. LFR raiding ilvl is currently 359 minimum, and I believe groups are accepting for normal diffculty around ilvl 370 and the higher you are the the more likely you're to get accepted. Also keep in mind you can get the raiding gear through the weekly vault which means you can get the transmogs from doing mythic+ as well.
