The absurd thing about the Gummi pet is, that Trolli is a company founded and operating in my hometown in Germany. I still can't partake.

Likely local laws not wanting people or kids to eat nothing but sugar and corn syrup. These promotions are just people buying as many packets of gummy worms as possible and using the codes. It's all marketing and I don't blame other countries wanting to curb the obesity problem by not allowing these types of promotion. (Granted you don't have to EAT the gummy worms, but then why would you buy them?)

As a compulsive pet collector it was really disappointing to see that Blizzard is not releasing them in EU. I did buy it via online still but please Blizzard make some more inclusive promotion pets 😊

Where I do agree that everyone should have the opportunity to get any wow item, there are plenty of examples where they weren't available. Secondly, it really wasn't US only, I run a guild and was able to get several of these and gave them to my Aussie friends. Blizz knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to what they are releasing. No one bats an eye when they release and expansion that includes items for other games like Diablo that you wouldn't get without an upgraded purchase of that expansion. Personally, people just like to complain. I know I grumbled a lot when the Spectral Tiger was out for another country and the US was left in the cold. But it is what it is. If you love the game, you enjoy playing then this is nothing but a blip. Hell, there are a lot of players that don't give a damn about pets, or transmogs or any of that. I don't let that bother me.

Just to clarify a few points. 1. you dont need to go to any 'specific" stores to purchase the candy. 2. In fact, you dont even need to purchase the pack of candy with the WOW promotion edition, any package will do. 3. There are many region specific items that Blizzard did before, now or will be in the future, like the silver pig, that's also China region specific before and eventually went to a twitch drop and probably will be in trading post in future. 4. most of these promotion pet are just for collection purpose, if you are expecting unique powerful skill set, you will be disappointed, in fact, I dont think Blizzard wants to put overpowered skill set pets even in their own store anymore.

You do need to go to specific stores for the tabards. I didn't say you had to for the pet. At least a third of my video talks about the fact that old items that were region specific have gone to the TP and Drops, and likely will in the future, or did you skip that whole section? The promo pets not being powerful or not having unique skill sets is false, and I point that out in another comment on the Lil' Flameo video.

I think it has something to do with it being candy. The EU has laws against advertising candy in certain media so it wouldn't surprise me if giveaways were illegal when done in participation with candy of any kind.

Great video about the gummi but I wonder if you are aware of the china only promos like the flying spectra tiger mount, granted I know its classic only but its still exclusive to china

there are many contents in this game and in other games will be region restricted. Do you remember the Amazon Prime reward that ran more than one year and every month you will get some decent rewards? Are you going to also purchasing such account link with some Amazon Prime member to go for such things also (assuming it even does work)? If you are going for that extreme, than you should never complain about the price or risks.

I gave 12 codes to EU based players. I still paid less for my pet including the 12 codes I gave away than I have for some other pets in my collection

Trolli cross-promotion candy was on the shelves before the promotion website was even up. However the redeem process is abysmal UPC code and picture of receipt with the purchased candy circled on the receipt, hard pass.

Well unless I'm just having really bad luck, not many here are going to be getting the mount for a bit. They changed their Terms & I've been unable to actually accept the new terms because the SUBMIT button doesn't work. So I can log in but I can't do anything until I accept. The points I already have can't be used & I can't redeem codes for points. All I get from mtndewgaming is an automated response telling me to try everything I've already done & "someone" will get back to me "soon"...3 days of this isn't "soon" in my book. Not sure how long ago the new Terms went up & likely broke the site but had to have been since Nov 1 since I was on the site Halloween day. It was working fine then but no new Terms. "Small indy companies" can't afford to pay for good code jockeys I guess.

It isn't available but its been confirmed if you have the codes etc you can still get the mount! I run a guild have lots of Aussie friends and I am doing it for them! Shout out on some of the FB wow pages lots of folks are pitching in for our fellow players!

I like Trolli gummy worms so when they released the promotion I happily just got some candy and a cool pet. Seemed sweet. Then came out the different rewards specific to certain stores.... just why? I'm not going out of my way to shop at different stores for virtual pixels.

It really was a weird decision. Like, are those stores giving them some kind of kickback? Otherwise, I can't see a reason for it.

Ummm, I just checked and this pet is going for around 25$US in the states and 40 euro elsewhere. Definitely not the $1-$5 range you predicted.

Hey scummy person I guess. With 1824 unique pets personally I gave away 4 gummies to out of US friends but I also sold 10 on eBay and have already sold 2 hate forged cycles. If blizzard is going to do this why not get a little money to pay my sub with. Don’t think it’s scummy at all.

Curious how you got the mtndewgaming site to work properly to get the mount(s). I can't get the SUBMIT button to accept the new terms to work. I read the agreement, check the box & the button doesn't activate. Even tried on 2 other browsers & my Android phone without luck.

Are you charging quadruple the price of a shop pet? I don't mind people making money, but if you're charging more than $15, $20 at the absolute limit, then yeah, I'd say someone doing that is scummy. Especially when the bags are so cheap, and there's no actual shipping, which I've heard people in Ebay charging. I didn't say all people making money were scummy, I said people taking advantage of other players are scummy. I can totally understand wanting to make a little more back than you spent, but $60? That's gross.
