World of Warplanes | Me 262 HG III | Review | Tier X | Heavy Fighter

With the same guns as the tier IX and the loss of the air to air rockets you would think this aircraft would be lacking something... But you'd be wrong. What it losses is more than made up for in the engine performance. I forget sometimes how important the engine power affects how an aircraft behaves. This aircraft get a major boost in top speed and can climb way better than the HG II. I was pleasantly surprised, I really like the HG II, but the HG III built on an already great concept.

noice. I'll probably hold off on grabbing this one for a while yet (I do enjoy having the flexibility of bombs and A2A rockets on the HGII), but glad you're enjoying it! :D Sorta related note - I've just gotten myself a shiny XF-90, which I think has pretty similar engine performance to this? And I've found it's actually a bit too fast for its own good at times - hard to avoid blowing right past a target, especially bomber flights, before I can actually kill them, and with how large these are it takes a good long while to turn around and reengage. Have you had any issues in that regard? Any tips?

Accuracy on the pilot skill, gas operated action on the guns and don't over commit. If you over commit you slow down, and that equals death. Keep the speed, do what damage you can and roll on to the next zone/target. The more you play it the better you will get at gauging the guns lead v.s certain targets. The nice thing about the XF-90 is that no one can catch you!

stalker777777777 yes but there are rolls to increase cooling rates so it mitigates that effect. The idea being that the times you do get guns on a target you are maximizing DPS over accuracy and burst length. For me it made sense to use GOA, but it would vary based on how you fly and what situations you see more often.

Get the XF-90...thank me later... Immagine a heavy with the firepower to delete everything at 800 meters and the speed to leave every single plane behind!! The only thing it looses its manouverability...but who cares The 262 is good but its not for me...i still cannot get the feel for these 30s

ı dont like the me 262 or also tier 9 and 10 speed is not a great skill , the maneuver turning is bad,ı hate so low values 32 maneuverbility is to low ı taked often down the tier x 262 hg ııı with my small fighter Me p .1092 :))

charly cinar it not for everyone. I pick my fights with light fighters like ME P 1092. Last night I was able to repeatedly take a player 1092 down by waiting till they were on another target and dropping on them for a quick one pass kill. Again not everyone can do that and a smart 1092 can just react to those attacks. I find staying fast and staying on bombers and ground attackers results in good scores and wins.
