I started with Germany. Bismarck is one of my favorite battleships. It may have sunk but it still managed to destroy Hood which is pretty impressive.

Bismarck is an awesome ship indeed :) I started with Germany too and really enjoy it - though now if I play (and I do casually) I am almost always piloting the Schlieffen.

How do I get the ship name on the ship at sea, I only see what type it is dd, cruiser, BB etc I see videos where the name of the ship and the user name is diplayed. I want this. I've serched everywhere in game can't do it. I've been playing less than 6 months up to t.IV and V

To research a new ship, does it only use the xp from the previous ship or all down the line?

Sorry for the late reply. To research a new ship, you must use ship XP gained by only the previous ship in the line, and/or free xp.

So, yes and no. No because it won’t contribute directly to the xp you will need for the next ship in line. Yes because it can get you a lot more xp and free xp (you can pay doubloons to convert the xp of a premium ship into free xp) and then you can use that free xp to research new ships. So, it’s a double edged sword. It will get you xp faster, but you have to convert that xp into free xp which costs money. If you don’t mind doing that, you can progress faster. I hope this helps!

I just got to a tier 4 cruiser. I wish I would have seen this video 1st. I wasted so much xp and coins on worthless upgrades. Do you think it would be worth it to start over after 25 hours of game play?

I actually did that. I’m not sure about 25 hours, but if you haven’t spent any money and want to have a do over then that’s definitely not a bad idea :) I didn’t really think many people would watch these videos, and heard that a lot of people stopped playing, so other than time constraints those were the big reasons I didn’t make any more of them. What class and country should I start with?

Tough question. It really depends on your play style. I find that Germany tends to have VERY good battleships, US and UK both have solid cruisers, Japan has amazing destroyers and for subs I’d probably give it to Germany as well. For aircraft carriers I’d not recommend playing them but if you want to both US and Japan have good options :)

How to buy ships 😭? I am not getting that option. I have so much resources to spend and all the ships currently I own are upgraded with all the equipments but not getting any option to research new ones, I have empty slot as well 🥴

You have to spend ship XP in the ship tree to research new ships and then you can buy them directly with credits. There are also ships in the ship tree you can buy with a lot of free XP I’d you have that. Otherwise, doubloons or coal in the armoury :)
