When I use this carrier, I "pave" my way with airplanes while i'm cruising. Then one time i was alone without escorts and a destroyer trackback my planes and found me. I shoot at it with the main guns, and it still running at me while taking damage. Then my autocannons bark at it and it started to do desperate manouver to drop it fishes. But at the second time my autocannons shoot, it sank without dropping a single torpedo.

Great video Terry, as usual. I also play it like a cruiser - woe betide any silly destroyer who zooms across the map looking for an easy kill. For slot one though, I took the mod to add dive bomber capacity at the expense of torpedo planes; reason being her dive bombers are very good (accurate) and I don't mind being deplaned of torpedo bombers bc a) I'm terrible at aiming them anyway and b) if they die I can focus on being a cruiser instead of micromanaging :)

Actually I haven’t seen much players using her as you did, during my grind for 100 victories ( which was very painful thanks to some teammates) I came across a lot of Erich loewenhart but mostly they stayed at the back line and never used their guns... also Saipan is a tier 7 so you will never see her in a tier 6 cv

Hello Terry. Very funny review. Buy this blitz pass last week. And only play this morning with this ship. I'm not a CV player (but a little cv customer 😂). But like you, one of my favorite CV is the Indomitable, and the other Graff Zeppelin because brawl games play agree. But in T7, with Saipan and T8 it's can be hard to make a good game. With this new, just fun! Not overpower, good thing I don't want that. Max t7 bb, dd or cruiser in front, so not big aa evolution and T6 Fighter not overpower. So you can really take a lot of fun. Not use it a lot I think (I play more t8 and T10), but good to take for the collection and the funny game play.

Giving this thing to a cruiser main is insane. It’s pretty much a Nürnburg that trades in its legs and it’s torps for a tier 5 carrier. I chose extra dive bomber capacity instead of prep time so now I just use my dive bombers as my HE shells, and my torp bombers like I would my torpedo launchers. It’s the best

I think that one was in a Blitz Pass at the time. You can occasionally find those premiums in shipyard or bundle sales.
