More Japanese Teir 7s. Ise is the well known, Mutsu somewhat, and I haven't seen an Ashitaka in forever, well except for my Ashitaka. My first thoughts were "why a rapid reload?". The others have a precise aim, so that explains it. On something completely unrelated, I think Ashitaka needs a buff, mainly another skill like Air Defense or Sonar.

As usual top job on the video Terry. I got a suggestion for you that I don't know if you will like; there are many bugs like what you pointed out with the turrets that we as players see, so could you tell us if can send it to you or report it to you or even changes that some ships need or in-game changes

Us CCs are usually pretty on top of reporting bugs, but feel free to ask. I'm not always aware of everything that's borked, but should know most of them.

I'm currently planning on looking at T7 and 8 next week, since that's the direct comparison to the DzP. De Witt will definitely be featured at some point as well, but I may hold off until we have the T10, so I can do a better comparison, since De Witt is effectively a battlecruiser.

@@FunandGameswithTerry Yeah that’s a fair plan. I personally think they made the DzP way too OP. As a T9, DeWitt only get a 9.3km range of air strike whereas DzP gets 9.9km. Considering the DeWitt would most likely be put in a T10 battle where 9km is “dangerously close enough” , WG need to either buff her and the Golden Lion or nerf the DzP.

Hyuga is something I want to get it seams fun and enjoyable to play and with rapid reload lll it can punish some cruisers if you get your shells on target Also notice that most of the Japanese ships in game don’t have the imperial seal of Japan yet hyuga does Also on a unrelated note did you know I’m part Dutch

You have no armour, so things like Roma can end you very quickly. It's effectively a glass cannon, even worse than Amagi, and needs to be played carefully. But if you manage, she can dish out quite some damage. I'll be looking into Dutch cruisers (and their pronunciations) next week.

I immediately found this ship useful at area denial in discouraging cruisers and even battleships from capping with that rapid reload.

In second thought running a RRB on Hyuga isn’t that bad and it’s fun and might get lucky reaching 80K or 100K DMG depending on the matchmaking is nice to you. She does get -3% of Main Battery Reload from EGO and if you equip her with the Main Battery Modification 2 which you -5% but it is a cost of -25% of her Main Battery Survivability but she has lots of 14in guns, 12 of them in 6 turrets so you don’t need to worry about losing a turret. So if you have EGO for -3% Reload and the MBM 2 for -5% Reload that will be 18.43s of Main Battery Reload Time if your running a RRB on Hyuga. That’s something you can learn from me because I’m damm good at RRBs.

I run AA consumables on IJN ships to augment the mediocre AA. I was wondering about your loadout.

I tend to prefer enhancing strengths over compensating for weaknesses, mostly. Probably the exception is the fire prevention module in slot 2, which I use quite a bit on e.g. German BBs.

Sweet! I ground this one for a bit but in t7 I compared my West Virginia & Poltava which both have 4k more hp & are better all around except speed on WV of course but AA is MUCH better. Running in Ranked play t7 it was no question Poltava... Also Hyugas wonky turret rotations midship REALLY Blow😘

It's not just Hyuga, all mid-turrets have this bug. It makes Amagi almost unplayable atm, since you either have to keep broadside, or only use 8 guns. We've reported it already, hopefully that gets fixed soon

@@FunandGameswithTerry The wonkiest turret rotation bug I’ve seen so far is with the Okhotnik. At least with the Amagi and Hyuga it is just the middle turret - with the Okhotnik, all five back turrets rotate to the other side of the ship if I have my aim just a little bit too far forward for the rear turrets to aim at.

Hitting rapid reload early has almost no advantage compared to using it at the right time. Rapid Reload 3 shaves off 9 seconds on Hyuga. Hitting Rapid Reload at 12 seconds means you still have three seconds to fire; if you did it the other way around and waited 3 seconds and then hit Rapid Reload, well you get my point, you're still waiting the same amount of time. If you're not good at mulitasking with aiming, activate RR3 and firing all at once, activating it early would benefit you.

It depends on the situation as well. I agree that it's not always optimal in terms of dps, but if it makes the difference between the enemy getting away, or them getting another salvo off, it can be worth it tactically.

Something weird I have noticed is I get a large amount of citadel hits with this ship. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not but I’ll hit tier 8 bbs and get citadels.

Not sure, I've noticed that happening in Nagato a while ago. Suddenly, she started absolutely shredding things. Maybe one of the factors has been adjusted.

Same. Nagato has a 72% out of 100 battles rating for me mainly because of the citadel hits. Hyuga is sitting at about 60%.

Very interesting, good video, it's really all about the reload and that's the reason i didn't like the ship at the start! But I played her for quite a while (with shogun camo, you get it by buying the 25 blitz pass steps package) and I like her very much now. If you stay behind and do your sniping reloading stuff, you are murderous. I actually like to play against nagatos the most, it's a citadel farm. I think, not sure anymore, this ship let me do my first triple citadel. And if you burn out 3 salvos after activating the rapid reload on like 15/14 seconds, you do massive amounts of damage. Getting 70k is not really a big deal. I'm wondering if they nerf the ship to rapid reload 2. Would be a possibility but on the other hand it will make her completely useless. 🤣🤣

Hyuga has more guns, and they're better - that's the main difference for me. Other than that, it's a bit of a matter of luck not to get focused.
