Whenever I play subs, the first thing I check is the team composition. 2 subs means less of other ships and no CV's mean a lot easier to remain undetected.

Nice job. Next time grab screenshots of the results screens. I would have liked to see how your team’s Cachelot did. My theory: submarines are “balanced” because the few that can really play them (who are nearly unbeatable) are balanced by the clueless majority.

The Calchot and the other USA subs are great for taking out surface ships but are the worst at anti sub.

I play subs so I can win battles. That is both when I play them and when I play against them since I know how best to kill them. I am glad there are so many people losing their tiny minds about subs, since all they are doing is making my learning easier and putting themselves farther and farther behind the curve. I am one of two in my clan who play subs a lot, and for the past several months, we are the ones who take the clan over the top during naval battles. Keep up the sub content please.

People are learning now. I'm not as successful with subs as I used to be, because dds and cvs have been dealing with me. But it's still pretty easy to be successful with it. Even if I'm not hitting torps, I make battleships use up their repair and push back a flank.
