Tip: when the planes are gone press p twice to turn off defensive AA and start reloading it. Turning off AA automatically turns of DFAA.

I love these kinds of matches where it's a tug of war to the end. Enemy team didn't make any obvious mistakes and they actually started pulling close at the end. You don't see many close matches anymore.

The super test version of FDR had no significant trouble loitering over my Halland. Never had much trouble otherwise unless nailed by a bunch of HE or something.

when you add the unique commander jerzy swersky (sp?) things get even better. after 20 planes shot down its +10% (i think?) to AA, and every 8 torp hits is 5% reload buff. and the torp reload stacks.

Shima was my first and only DD till I decided to FXP Halland, because I got a special captain. And I loved Halland, the only thing Shima has high damage per torp and smoke, but Haland's torps hit more and do more overall damage, on top of that she has good DPM to fight other DDs and perfect AA.

95 knots and 12,5km range means torp acceleration. With all the radars and cv games i prefer the extra range over the speed, but then landing the same amount is more ''difficult''. still superfast though

Not sure if you've got the special Pan EU captain Jerzy Swirski but if you don't you should totally get it. I'm also surprised you're using AFT. Imo short range of the main battery is a good thing to have since it allows you to disengage faster.

Robin you should turn off AA if Defensive Fire is running but the planes are gone, it resets the cooldown so it'll be ready sooner.

Dont worry i had a hard time too hitting any torps, At least for me 2×3 Torps were just too little, with östergötland i felt much more comfortable and hit about 15 torps average

Halland is far from OP. You will have terrible games too, this is typical of Halland. I'd be surprised if you can best 80k+ on average after few hundret games. T10 CVs still shit on you, AA or not, and it HURTS plus you are visible to all their team and cannot hide.
