That Independence was definitely skilled. Those drops were all so close to being perfect. If he had been playing Ryujo with its faster torp speed, he might have gotten you with those drops. Kind of makes me want to terrorize low tiers with my Ryujo again since I haven't done that in a while

These boats are good for two things only, kicking puppies and clubbing baby seals, but it's a lot of fun doing it. I need to play mine more. 😂

Every time I play tier 5, I play against a Kami/Fujin and the guy will have 15k battles and 12k of them are in the Kami. Total scum

Get another Kamikaze R or Fujin along with a Okhotnik in a Division and watch out! 😜 Talk about being team carry. 04:25 You should use wide spread vs DD's. You will get better results. 05:04 Better the CV wastes his time on you than your BB's or CA's. In a way you are giving your teammates an extra heal(s). WP match.

My clan mate runs a Fujin, same as Kamikaze, and I run a Hill, Halsey Hill is like a T5 fletcher in guns. It's filthy seal clubbing.

Good game you had there! But I am going to scold you a bit though. I can´t believe that an experienced and good player like you doesn´t have ¨last stand¨ on a 20 point DD captain. Last stand should literally be the second captain skill ALL DDs should pick, not the last one before you get the 21st point, regardless of nation or tier. I´m sure you remember me commenting on you BB videos, but first and foremost I am a DD main. As such, I´m also jealous that you have the Kamikaze R, I would kill to have that DD.

On my Shima? No way. Not enough points for that! I'd basically have to drop either torpedo power or radio location. I don't know if either is worth it.

I absolutely love this boat, but must admit that whenever I play it I feel like I need to wash my hands afterwards because I feel a bit dirty. She is just so brutally efficient it almost feels like cheat mode.

She's alright. Not the best, but there aren't many battleships that are competing with her at the long range HE spam anyway.
