World Peace Bell - Newport, Ky

WARNING - As you can see in the comments, the sound of the bell is loud and evidently can make your ears bleed! Ha! Let this serve as your warning.
Close up of the World Peace Bell in Newport, Kentucky. There are two ways that it rings. One is the "hammer" to the left of it. That hits it 12 times at noon everyday. The other way is to actually "swing" it. There's a remote control that triggers the motor to swing the bell. It takes approximately 30 seconds to start ringing after triggered and rings about 50 times.
As you can see, it was louder than I was prepared for. There's a jolt when it starts. Watch to the right and you can see a man, woman and their dog scatter. They had no clue it was about to ring.

You can hear a little, yes I mean LITTLE bit of the actual sound of the bell.Again this ring is from a low class camera (with TERRIBLE audio) and sorry for those who are watching with headphones. If you managed to put your volume down to 1%,I shouldn’t be as loud. Edit, this is me in 2021, I just realise it was on a phone istead of a proffesional camera
