This was the greatest era of hip-hop The true golden age I missed this era so much . The New York City breakers were my idols They were the greatest in my opinion. DJ graffiti MC all the elements were there . I started dancing in 84 and stopped in 94. 10 years straight of dedication to b- boying . I love dancing I was a breaker. I am now 54 years of age But I look back on it. The culture was so beautiful back then. The gear everything was so fresh. Nowadays to me, hip-hop is so polluted because these so-called are have forgotten the pureness of what it was . Everybody wants to be gangsters pimps drug dealers on the Mic smh . Word ! though I am from Baltimore born and raised. I remember when it jumped off down here in the 84 it was like the fire of hip-hop was spreading everywhere the music, the dance through graffiti the Mc’s It was pure love. I remember the hot summer of 84 my friends and I were going in the basement and my brothers of my mom and dad‘s home and we would be down In the basement for hours Spinning On our backs doing windmills footwork Up rocking and top rocking, we did it all. And my mother will make us some cheesesteaks and Kool-Aid while we were downstairs dancing those were the good old days
