I got lucky and pulled this from a box. Just ran it in the borg red alert and was able to get in front of the final borg ship and fire off the juggernaut array down the entire length of the thing. It's health went from around 80 to about 14 by the time it finished. :)

I want it but hate the lockbox method. I did present the idea of having the Event T6 unlock be account unlock as opposed to character unlock only.

Credit where it's due; I love the format of this review! I'm not sure how it could be any more informative or useful for anyone. The detailed comparison listing and potential alternatives is really smart. Also I think offering a glimpse at some bridge officer layouts is an excellent idea. I know you're 'planning' on doing videos aimed more towards newer players, and think one dedicated to bridge officers, discussing the theory behind using one over another, and how they work in conjunction with specific weapons, abilities, etc would be one of the most invaluable (next to whatever video this game's community needs to ween them off of pathetic beams!!!).

Spencer has an understanding of the game's mechanics, every aspect of the game, that he's a genuinely invaluable content creator that, like Augmented Dictator videos of past, can improve a player's enjoyment of the game by guiding people to make better decisions.

Ah, activating firing modes do not refresh the stack timer, each stack has their own 15s timer it seems. So to maximize this ship trait, one would need to be constantly activating 15s GCD firing modes at their GCD. Thanks for the vid, Spencer.

I will wait for it to be added to the mudd's store, and then I will wait for a 75% sale. There's no way I ever get this ship unless it's an account unlock. The gamble boxes need to go. Everyone who ever spent money on them should have all of their money refunded. I know that won't happen, but monetising rng should be illegal.

Just as far as difficulty settings go , the game needs at least 1 more EASIER and 1 more harder. An actual "easy" mode to make it more accessible to Trek fans as Trek and heavy combat aren't usually connected and it's the biggest complaint I hear from others I know. I can play it... But I'm not the only dog in the yard. 1 harder because if I have a ship I want to try on something beyond Elite... than I'm sure there's others who have a few.

I just bought this from the exchange. Might have jumped the gun a little since I don't have the consoles or weapons to make it shine just yet, but I've never tried a juggernaut ship, and it's a Galaxy-class, so how could I not go for it? I will probably for the BO/torp build you listed. Even though I'll still only be doing advanced, I don't think I mind. I've been using the Constitution MW carrier, and while I do love it, I'm getting a little bored with the pet style of gameplay.

While I completely agree it is a rip off, and that the gasha boxes are criminal, the important fact is that *nobody has to pay 650$ for this ship.* A player has to sell +/- 100$ worth of keys to get the EC needed to buy this boxed ship from the player exchange. Any T6 in the entire game is capable of handling all the content including the 30$ zen store ships you can get for 12-20$ with various sales and promotions, and also most definitely the completely free ones given out as rewards for completing single events such as the mirror somerville, the Cnidarian defender or the Baby V'Ger.

If I have the Terran Cygnus, do I really need the WR? I know it's personal preference and all, but I have read that aside from the juggernaut array, it's only like 10% better than the Terran Cygnus after it's all said and done. I'm just curious because I want to make a TNG character and I already have the Ross and Cygnus, and my build is Disruptor.

The WR gets a more aggressive boff layout and an innate phaser juggernaut array. But if you're on Disruptor, that isn't going to be as big of a deal for ya. So yeah, Cygnus should be fine for you atm. Much easier to get and will not be that far behind now with the Isomag meta.

If you can put lots of firing modes on your build, Innervated. If you can put lots of heals on your build, then Fortified

The proc from the Obliviating phasers goes off so little that it basically isn't relevant in combat from the testing I've done.
