Amazing run, congrats. Imo the rules should say that all classes must be included in the 8-man run :) But sub 90 min is insane guys.

The rule has always been to get the baal quest completed. Even in single player speedruns. So everyone in the party in act 5 gets the quest completion with the others there, just like a grush.

lol nice.. btw this time is extremely hard to beat - our tele sorc, mekalb, gets like 4 exp shrines thru act 1 so he can teleport REALLY early and we had good exp boss groups

Yeah, it's one of the speedrunning "cheat codes" but if you were to change that rule, then you'd just have 1 person solo the entire thing and have 7 supporting characters, and that would be boring.

I miss the good old original Diablo 2 times. Best and happiest years of my life playing that game with friends or alone (mostly alone). Now it just makes me sad to see what Diablo games has become and how Blizzard hopped to the greedy train so fast. P.S Did they change something in D2R compared to D2 original with sorcs and mana using, people tend to level up mana these days and back in the day that was absolutely a big no no. Basically all characters all you need is; Str enough to wear gear barely and you needed to count how much str you got from items and charms, less used in points the better. Dex perhaps enough for block chance maxed out if you are that type of a character (paladin, amazon for example) and the rest jacked up to Vitality because that is all you care about, vitality and resistance :D

@@Semirotta stats haven’t changed, it’s just you have no mana items early so getting a little bit of energy is actually good. Also there are potion crits and the more energy & vit you have the more likely your potion will crit. So we’ve learned a lot more about the game.

Generally for non-speed running you still go max vit enough str/dex to get gear no energy, but typically in speedruns/leveling its common to put early points in energy knowing you can respec out later, as the extra mana per point for a sorc is very high and super useful early when spells cost so much mana, while you only get 2 life per vit point. Spirit having insane mana pretty much alleviates this issue, but pre-spirit sword mana can be tight.

Sorc all mana build is more viable now that they fixed some weird mana burn bug that could screw people over, Dbrunski did a video about it showing a tanky all mana energy shield sorc
