This may have been a world record sized bonnethead shark! These sharks don't get very big and the world record was 28lbs, so this shark was very close if it didn't beat it! These sharks shouldn't be confused with hammerhead sharks which look very similar, but bonnethead sharks have much blunter heads. Sharks are delicious and have wonderful firm meat, but they must be gutted, bled and iced immediately! Hope you guys enjoy this shark catch clean cook!
