Matteo Montanari since having to play normal mode first would take a lot of work, Admins of the game have allowed a thing called “Fresh Expert Mode Glitch” you can find it online somewhere

If you complete the game in normal, then start a new game it bugs out something with the stage select and it goes by default on expert even if there should not be the option. Then if you never move the cursor you'll be always start the boss in expert mode

If you have a save with expert mode unlocked you can go in a boss fight and select expert and then exit and start a new save. The cursor will remember you were in expert mode and will put you there, even though it doesn’t say expert it colors the box in orange.

Hilda is a tough one but if you are playing in the current patch, you can use twin heart (5 hp) and as long as you still have 3 hp at the end you should be fine.

it's a glitch, if you select expert difficulty on a completed save file then go back to screen title and start a new game, the menu is going to be glitched, and you'll be able to select expert without having to beat the gsme first to unlock it

In speed running there are always people that say that speed runners use glitches and don’t play the game properly, so in cuphead there’s a category for 200% with the first gun. You have to get all the coins, do all the run and gun stages without killing anyone and doing all the bosses on expert without anything that you bought and without taking damage and the 3 parries. Basically get max rank on all the stages with the beginning kit. All of that for the haters

We do what it is called "Fresh Expert Glitch", on a beaten file we use it after starting the game then select the "Expert" difficulty, then we start a new file and the game by default will think the game still is on expert difficulty.
