That triple tear parry at 50:01 is insane. One of the hardest and most unfair parries of the game, and at the end of the run, and you pulled it off. Amazing
@XerosXIII5 жыл бұрын
yea man! like how the commentator choked and in awe when he went off screen XD
@YeahChance5 жыл бұрын
Why is it hard? Not discrediting him, just asking. Cause it looks like 4 tears of parries flow down so can’t you just keep partying up like he did ? But damn that was fun to watch
@flaro385 жыл бұрын
@@YeahChance First of all that is the last phase of the last boss, at the end of a 50 minute run, so there was a lot of tension. This parry is particularly unfair because you have an extremely small surface to stand on (only that tiny platform) and you have to shoot the devil and at the same time avoid the chips that fall from above. Those chips are as large as the platform, so this means that you have to jump to either side and expose yourself to the tears, which come at absolute random and are unpredictable. So yes, basically he just kept spamming the jump button in the air to parry anything, but doing all these things simultaneously is very hard (and spectacular to watch). And consider that the hardest thing might be to parry immediately after a jump, which he did exactly after the triple parry.

What I like about this guy is that at 11:23 when he says they are tutorial bosses and undermines the difficulty of each boss, the runner disagrees with him. I spent a decent amount of time, fighting those first few bosses, but obv to someone who speedruns the game, it wouldn't be as tough anymore, but it's good to see him not being complacent about it.
@TheMexicanRunner5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I had to intervene there, specially because the Hilda Berg, flying stage isn't easy at all, so I did disagree with that specific statement but he corrected immediately to say that on lower difficulties is easy.
